Daboll will fail if he signs with the jets, like all HC who sign there do.

The Bills would not be as good as they are now, and the jests would have a slightly better team, it is really that simple.

BD would severely tarnish his reputation of being a brilliant mind by signing with he jets, even for many millions guaranteed, the jets and the WFT are the black holes of disappointment for any HC, I suspect The Pegulas will give him a hefty bonus/raise and we will have two assistant head coaches. Well, going into week four, our defense is now set up the way it was intended to be on week one, and all participants are “reasonably healthy”. I am confident that McD & LF know what the problems were and have a remedy in place. White, not wearing the red jersey in practice, Milano, hammy, Edmunds, shoulder, and Norman, hammy, all being ready to go will pay dividends on the field at “Roomba” stadium in Vegas. I got a good feeling about this game! Go Bills!!!

Without “standing” a random lawyer can’t sue, a lawyer would need someone directly effected by bounty gate to hire said lawyer to speak in their behalf, all it needs is a disaffected player to take the step, then game on.

He is a potential law suit waiting to happen, and it will involve the league office/owners, being the owners are the league office... a quality law firm would have a field day tracing his activities, and a suddenly unemployable former player due to wrongful injury may make a call to such a firm. Even a letter from a law firm on behalf of one or more players to the commissioner might prompt his exit from the league. One can only hope such a Letter is sent.

I would say that capacity to identify and hire good people and let them do what they do well is a particularly high quality skill set that one wants in a GM or in fact anyone running any multifaceted operation, it shows that Beane knows what needs to be accomplished, and those results speak for themselves. From the little I have read, Beane seems to have been considered a high quality football operations mind league wide prior to being hired by Pegula.

I hear ya, But I would also say Pegula learned, and that made his decision an easier one to get right this time around, and the results of his decision are pretty darn evident, at least at this point. Pegula didn’t become a Billionaire because he was unable to learn.

Many salient points have been made by others in this thread, but another point may very well be that teams by and large no longer have any real desire to spend the required time and energy to coach up QBs like Josh Allen, or players in other positions for that matter, most GMs and coaches want the prepared food version, because a lot of them can’t cook...
