Trump 47, Putin & The Ukraine War.
daz28 replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Do you have a link for the "red phone" claim? How effective is diplomacy with someone you can't trust. What good is diplomacy with a nation, when your president's stance is, 'they fear me because I'm unpredictable'?? If Russia wants some diplomatic channels, how about stop invading countries, and get out of the one you're currently invading? Russia may be friends to the GQP, trump and Fox news, but they're the enemy of the world and USA. Go have a look see about what Europe(you know our ACTUAL ally) thinks about Russia. It's almost like they realize they could be invaded at any time, and they'd like to be secure. trump isn't even notfifying them of the "negotiations". They spent more on Ukraine aid recently than us, but no seat at the table? Psht! -
Nope, it's an outright lie to think anyone is against waste and fraud, so now everyone is just jealous? That's the best you got? How about you jump on the ask questions train with us? Is there something wrong with transparency and knowing the facts? It's more than seems unnecessary, it seems SUSPICIOUS.
-
All you did was talk about tears. That's trolling. What hypocrisy was exposed? Not biting on the deflection, fisherman. Asking questions and posting facts=gnashing teeth? Uh no. So again, why might this super transparent DOGE, that isn't responding to Congress, who has an ACTUAL DOGE board, need their files sealed for years? Might it be because some people have already asked damning questions, and they are hiding the answers?
-
Bro, you trollin' like a fisherman. Nice use of the dodger, too. How about you. Any ideas why DOGE files need to be buried? Not asking for deep thought, just ideas. So hide what could be a conflict of interest in the name of "what could appear to be impropriety", because "ethics". Brilliant! I'll stick with Elon was behind it, thanks.

That's one reason. The Democrats are the other. The complete nonsense political infighting between the outlier groups has spilled over into the moderate, sane, thinking people to some degree. The real shame is some of sane people still can't identify that as the real problem. I'd guess most of the center wishes BOTH SIDES would shut the **** up about cultural issues, and focus on the dire issues, that aren't getting attention, because the partisan crap gets all the attention. -
Let's be honest. You're happy with whatever they feed you, and really don't care if what they're doing is transparent or legal. The claim that anyone is crying over cutting waste/fraud might be the dumbest claim ever. This is about being fanboi's for Elon, trump and MAGA, and that's about it. Don Jr. should open a MAGA nursing home chain, where you feed them anything and they devour it, whether it was real food or tasted horrible. The red states are about to be hit hard(so billionaires can get more trillions), and they might wake up a little then. Might. I guess they may as well celebrate something for now. Can you give me one reason why DOGE files will be sealed for years? Even a reason why maybe they should be?

I can't think of a single reason some rando at the State Dept felt the need to go in and edit that document. I can see plenty of reasons Elon would. No, I'm not in the least ok with it. I can't think of many reasons the State Dept would need $400M of electric armored SUV's, except maybe to use domestically, but against who? Citizens? It's almost like there's a reason people want transparency, and no that doesn't mean posting that you found $83k earmarked for Columbian gene-splicing climate science trannies.

That's why I was digging so hard, because the not so fake right-wing media was calling them "charges". You'd think she'd have learned something from some of trumps more mediocre lawyers about how to slow roll things. The more people you name, the longer it takes. -
I believe he said to notify him. Well, notified.

I wonder how you edit State Department documents with 'read-only' access: Billionaire Elon Musk — CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and X.com and leader of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — is promising transparency and full disclosure with his DOGE efforts. But on Wednesday night, February 12, a U.S. State Department procurement document was edited to remove Tesla's name. This followed media reports of a $400 million contract for Tesla.

Donald trump, live on television, said he would be responsible for covid relief payment oversight. So he's responsible for the $1 trillion in fraud: Haywood Talcove, CEO of Lexis Nexis Risk Solution, described to lawmakers the different kinds of criminals exploiting U.S. government benefits systems, pointing out that Covid relief provided a windfall of over $1 trillion to those criminal elements. “Outdated government systems permit criminals to access unlimited sums of money. During the pandemic, they stole $1 trillion dollars, 70 percent of those dollars went overseas. Shockingly, it’s just not criminals exploiting the system, it’s the flawed system itself acting as the accomplice. If left unchecked, the U.S. government will continue to lead the world in funding cyber criminals,” Talcove said. How much is in that republican tax cut for billionaire's budget bill for updating the systems?

I'd rather not have to believe you. I have no idea why you'd "believe" Elon to be anything more or less than government scum. Let's just stick to verifiable transparency. Can you give me one legitimate reason for this: On Wednesday evening, DOGE advisor Katie Miller wrote on X that Musk's group is protected by the Presidential Records Act. Under that act, DOGE records would remain sealed until 2034, five years after Trump leaves office and eight years after DOGE is set to disband. Do you think Elon Musk should answer to Congress?? It would be near impossible trying to argue, that with like 5 executive orders under judicial review in a couple weeks, that there's not a legitimate legislative purpose for it.

On Wednesday evening, DOGE advisor Katie Miller wrote on X that Musk's group is protected by the Presidential Records Act. Under that act, DOGE records would remain sealed until 2034, five years after Trump leaves office and eight years after DOGE is set to disband. But why???

On Wednesday evening, DOGE advisor Katie Miller wrote on X that Musk's group is protected by the Presidential Records Act. Under that act, DOGE records would remain sealed until 2034, five years after Trump leaves office and eight years after DOGE is set to disband. Musk did not give a financial disclosure as protection to us from any potential conflicts of interests with the people. How very transparent of them. I mean when you're fighting corruption, and finding the bad guys, it's always a good idea to cover your tracks. A 25-year-old associate of Elon Musk and former Treasury Department employee was "mistakenly" given the ability to make changes to a sensitive federal payment system, officials with the Bureau of the Fiscal Service disclosed in a series of court filings late Tuesday. So yeah, they lied about the read only files access. Honest mistake though, right?? No worries, it's not like the hacker kid now has a backdoor or anything.

Tax cuts are a loan, that will be passed on to other generations, in hopes that those dollars will be spent or invested in new business. If they're spent on stocks or not spent, then they're a double net bad. Tax incentives for businesses is the way to go. if there's no significant boost to the GDP, then they're very bad. Last time they did not work, and overall, trickle down has increased the wealth gap. Also, the price tag for that hope of investment is programs that help hurting Americans. Last, unemployment is low, so new businesses will fight with high labor costs right off the bat. It's better to do this when unemployment is high. For trump(and most republicans) it's always a great time. The main impetus of this cut is also going to be Medicaid. Sure, that's saved money right? Wrong. This will cause rural hospitals to close, and health care costs for all in general to increase significantly.

So you're saying that the hundreds, maybe thousands of people involved in the investigation were "in on it"(on top of the election officials in 5 states top to bottom)? All 60 or whatever courts were in on it? Wouldn't it just be easier if, after all these years, trump just put out a comprehensive " detailed report with accompanying methodology and data to support the claim"? 🤣🤡 Better yet, just call "Brad".
-
I just brought this up earlier. Remember when they asked who'd be responsible to oversee the pandemic relief program funds, and trump said "I will"? Pepperidge farms does. Imo, the largest fraud in US history: But there was also some bad news: Five programs saw substantial increases in payment errors. For example, the Department of Labor’s Pandemic Unemployment Insurance program saw an increase of $44 billion in errors. The same report that is going to tell you Russia meddled in it, yet trump disbanded that agency??? That report? Will you selectively believe the parts you want to believe? Btw, I'm still waiting on a link to Fauci getting a percentage??? Key Finding and Recommendations: Foreign Interference Related to the 2020 US Federal Elections

Raising the debt ceiling by $4 trillion, so yeah, you can celebrate all this work going to reduce debt, but..................................reality!
-
Which equates to one hell of a good compensation for the fiscal hawks, when they cave. I'm guessing he "ran" on this, too, right??? Meet the new thief. Same as the old thief. That'll punch a hole in the debt! 👿 Go ahead and praise him anyways.

I'm having trouble getting details, but it looks like this is just a civil suit aimed at what Bondi believes to be an unconstitutional NYS(et al) law. Guaranteed they slow roll the livin bejeezus out of it. She probably would have been smarter to just name one person, because it would go faster. Might be a rookie mistake. -

LAWFARE!!! See how that works? -
While affirmative action is a terrible idea in some circumstances, identifying and taking measures to correct inherent racism in a society is not. Calling the latter racism is just trumpian white supremacist logic from the 70's.
