Except Spags was running, that should have given it away. -

Unreal, Harbaugh and Jackson don’t have the ability to make two throws into the end zone happen there? -

I’m typically a traditionalist, but they might as well abolish the kickoff completely. The more I see of this new format, the more pointless it seems. -

Lamar is one of the best QB’s in the NFL, because there aren’t many great ones, but he hasn’t grown at all through the years. He just gets a year older (slower) each year, and eventually he’ll fade away once the athleticism becomes reduced. -
When do you typically get big game, game day anxiety?
SirAndrew replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, as I’ve gotten older, I just don’t have an emotional attachment to these type of things. I still like watching Bills football, and the wins feel good, but it doesn’t impact my mood in any way. -
Is sitting down at football games normal?
SirAndrew replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve always noticed the average age of Buffalo fans at the stadium seems to be lower than other stadiums. I know many older fans have season tickets, but I’ve been surrounded by twenty somethings every time I’ve attended, including in the lower bowl. I think this has a lot to do with fan behavior. I expect the demographic to change significantly in the new stadium. The stadium sometimes seems like a giant frat party on Sundays. It gives Buffalo a spectacular college like home advantage that comes across great on television, but it can being annoying at times in person. -

This is the correct answer, I personally don’t care if I stand or sit. However, I find it obnoxious when the lone person who chooses to stand is right in front of me. Then I need to stand in order to see, but would block everyone’s view doing so. Personally, I’m more apt to understand standing at a concert vs football though. I don’t see the need to stand for the entire game with all its dull moments. I fully understand on key defensive plays or a two minute game winning drive. -
Which interests you more this season... SNF or MNF???
SirAndrew replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
MNF has less Dallas, so that’s the winner. -
I agree, most people on this board think that Tua is limited, but also dislike McDaniels. I don’t think those things can both be true. I believe Tua is a very average QB, and has been made to look good with McDaniels great scheme.

I’m not a big fan of how Beane is currently building this team, but we have Josh Allen. This league is more quarterback driven than anyone wants to admit. I don’t think this roster is great, but also don’t see many teams overtaking an Allen led football team. The Fish and Jets have yet to prove anything, but we seem afraid of them every season. I’m not a homer type, but no one in the AFC East has proven anything. I’ll never understand why we always try to crown those guys. We have major flaws that I believe prevent a championship run. That doesn’t mean we aren’t the best in the AFC East.

He’s been mentioned as a possible late round draft choice. I can’t believe they kept taking him out of the game. He does have an extremely weak arm if that Hail Mary attempt was indicative, but seems like an accurate short range passer.

Deion is ridiculous in trying to pad Shadeur’s stats.

Cam Newton, recognizing coverages, disguises and Sean McDermott
SirAndrew replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m fully convinced there’s a major mental element to KC dominating us in the postseason. I don’t think we expect to win. The players and coaches both appear timid and afraid against KC in the postseason. Josh Allen being the major exception of course. -
This, I wouldn’t care where I’m drafted, life would be good regardless.

Panthers @ Bills, Preseason game 3, Sat 8/24 1pm

I agree, and if he doesn't, it’s a strange way to send your struggling kicker into the regular season on a potential sour note. -

I also think we lack a playmaker on defense to play the ball control game. We don’t have a disruptive pass rusher to close out the game. If KC gets the ball back, I’m quite convinced they’re scoring. Ball control offense puts you in a lot of close games, but we don’t have anyone to close those games out on defense. I’d rather Allen let it fly, and hope to take a big lead while getting the home crowd riled up. I think that’s our more likely path to victory. You’re correct, we’re not sophisticated enough to play that game. -

I agree about the KC game, but it still would have come down to one final defensive stop had Bass made the kick. I don’t think that would have happened anyway. Therefore ball control doesn’t do much except decrease the margin for error. -

Honestly, ball control offense is a ridiculous idea with Allen as QB to begin with. I grew tired of McD trying to hide his defense last season. -

Elam looking quite low effort today, I know it’s not the regular season, but that was awful. -
2017-2022 felt like incredibly positive seasons to me. I speak for myself, but whenever I’m negative about the Bills, it’s due to the possibility that Josh Allen becomes the greatest QB of all time to never appear in a Super Bowl. The endless quest for defensive lineman in multiple drafts, and refusal to draft more than one WR a season has left the offense in a tough spot.

If you could get a day 2 pick for Cook would you pull the trigger…
SirAndrew replied to julian's topic in The Stadium Wall
The amount of yes answers is ridiculous. Cook might not be a superstar, but he contributes to this team. He’s an important part of this offense, like it or not. A day two draft choice might not even be a starter. Apparently many of us want another corner or defensive lineman. -
Postgame thread (8/17/24) - Bills at Steelers
SirAndrew replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Steelers made a mistake not drafting another QB this year also. I realize they didn’t great draft position, but teams without a QB should always acquire one in the draft until they find their guy. Going with proven failed QB’s rarely works out. -

Exactly, Josh Allen on the 49ers beats KC imo. Instead, he’ll face on uphill battle just to carry his team to the playoffs. -

I’m not trying to overreact to the backup QB position, but wow, Trubisky is really bad.
