This is one of those rare times I agree with everyone posting. We need better QB play, Allen becomes a bust if he doesn’t improve big time before the end of the season imo, we also need a legit number one WR, and Daboll needs to learn how to be an NFL level OC. All of those things are problems right now.

You just nailed the bigger than Brown as the number one. The big issue might be Beasley as number two. Bease is a great slot guy, but placing him number two after Brown is far from ideal. Who is our number two? Because this roster has no one I’d consider a legit number two WR.

A guy who can make contested catches, who can be an underneath or a deep threat. John Brown has number one stats this season, but that’s because he’s been placed in that role. Stats don’t show the kind of passes a QB can make to a guy with more versatility than Brown. Brown would be an awesome number two.

I agree, they are both decent receivers. It would just be nice to move them down the depth chart one spot. Our WR corps is subpar as is, add a real number one, and I’d have a different opinion.

Haven’t seen one of our receivers do that since Moulds. So, it’s been a long time.

I have no clue who Allen is better than at this point, and how much it is has to do with subpar receivers.

Ugh, Reid just punted away any chance of winning. -

Yeah, fans love hating on the guy because he doesn’t win in the playoffs, but he’s a great offensive mind. -

There is one flaw with your theory. If the other team is better (which too many have been over the years) you can blame the front office for that. On a serious note, I like this team and the current regime. I just think we have a way to go. -
Our next 4 games are very winnable

Agree with all that, except I don’t think our offense is better than last season. When Allen was on the field last year, our offense was better than it is this season. -

With that run defense and our sad offense, they are also all possible losses. I don’t say that to be negative, my point is that regardless of who we play, we need to get things right. Adjustments need to be made to get back to winning football. The Miami victory was not winning football either, against any team that isn’t historically terrible. -
Daboll has failed at every stop as an OC. I never had any reason to believe he was the guy I wanted here. He’s done little to prove otherwise. I just hope they move on from him sooner rather than later. None of us want to see Allen’s development slowed by an inept OC.

A lesson learned? It is not all about Defense

This is my biggest issue. I like the McBeane regime. They took us to the playoffs, and restored direction to this franchise. McDermott was able to take a 2017 squad with very little talent to the playoffs. That says a lot about the guy as a coach. However, my concern is the fact that McDermott teams continue to suffer blow out losses at home against quality opponents. That’s not supposed to happen to decent NFL teams. McDermott and his coaching staff continue to get outschemed and outcoached against good opponents. -

Yeah, apparently everyone is just joking around, or no one actually read the article. -
Fair enough, I don’t care when people talk down the Bills either. I’m just saying the knock against the Bills and Vikes are pretty much the same. Neither team has beat anyone decent, and both lost their greatest tests. I think the Bills can beat anyone, but I also think they can lose to anyone, so a Bills vs Vikes game would be a close call.
