I was on the bandwagon of not worrying about Allen myself. He’s still young, and hasn’t started many games. Winning our first three games had me in good spirits about the team, and I still love his potential. Maybe I’m currently blinded by the disappointment of another Pats loss, but his poor decision needs to improve. He played some really good games during the last half of 2018. Allen hasn’t played any good games through the first quarter of this season. That needs to change, or we all have cause for concern at years end.

I get that, and it’s everyone responsibility to block. Just saying that Beasley being a bit soft has always been a knock on his game. He’s not the pesky tough little slot receiver type guy. He’s more known as a dependable target with soft hands. The tough parts of the game like blocking and run after the catch are not his game.

If Allen keeps making mistakes at this rate all season I’ll be worried. My hope after the 3-0 start was for Allen to keep learning how to reduce mistakes while the defense carried the team to victories this year. I’ll be worried if we start losing games, and Allen keeps making bad decisions with no sign of improvement once the offseason arrives.

This post wouldn’t have happened, but Allen does need to tone down the reckless play regardless. If not for the reckless play (poor decision making) he wouldn’t have been knocked out of the game.

I agree, the fourth quarter has been his thing all season. No one in their right mind wanted to see Barkley on the field for a potential game winning drive.

3 TD’s to 6 picks on the season isn’t so great either. I’m certainly not giving up on Allen. I’ve been in his corner all season, and the future is bright. We just need to see improvement. We also don’t need him to miss any substantial amount of time this season.

Honestly, Allen hasn’t played any good complete games of four quarters this season. That becomes an issue when you face the Pats. We were just able to escape with wins against lesser teams.

This would be a tough game without Allen. People would discover that Barkley’s 2018 Jets game was a fluke. We aren’t winning games with Barkley under center. I’m really hoping Allen is back next week. We can’t afford him to miss time this season. It not only alters this season outcome, but is detrimental to his development as well.

I hear you, but I don’t think many people expect much blocking from Beasley. He’s not really a tough slot receiver in the mold of a guy like Edelman. Allen needs to slide rather than attempting to run over three defenders. There’s so much I like about Allen, but he plays quite ignorant football at times.

Yeah, I’m tired of seeing a guy who’s a total liability being placed in the lineup each week getting passes thrown his way. Everyone but the Bills coaching staff can see this.

This was also going to be my crybaby post. Why does McDermott always insist on keeping guys on the roster who cost us games?

Is the fact that I’m more frustrated by outplaying them in a close loss than getting blown out strange? Just a tough loss imo.

Exactly, I like my chances better with Allen in that situation than Barkley.

It is, but people think he’s much better than he really is. Barkley is not a good QB.

Who knows what the outcome what have been with Allen in the forth even though he had a poor game. Barkley is Edwards like.

Bills fans never watched Barkley in Chicago I guess.

Yeah, but people shouldn’t have these crazy expectations for Barkley. His natural talent is nowhere close to Allen. Barkley has been a low level backup his entire career.

Beasley hasn’t impressed me much this season either. Small slot receivers need to be reliable and sure-handed. Beasley hasn’t really been either.

Our receivers are a joke.

Cool, let’s give a participation trophy being a hard worker. Zay is awful and needs cut tomorrow imo.

Feel bad for the defense. This is an amazing effort. Seems like the offense has been holding this franchise back for many years now.
