I think the offense will be best if Palmer and Kincaid are the top two targets. Shakir is a solid WR but the offense is too plodding when he is the focal point. Really want to see more intermediate to deep throws by Allen and use the entire field. Next will probably be Moore. He should be more of a threat than Samuel. Samuel will be the 5th WR gadget guy. That leaves Coleman as the 4th WR. He may be the Hollins role and be out there on more running plays. Never liked the pick. Just don't believe he can get open against NFL corners. I really like Knox but there just is not enough plays for him to get the ball often. I thought he could be an elite TE but he never developed into a star. If Kimcaod is playing well Knox probably gets 15-20 receptions but might have 4 TDs.

Dropped easy passes Several Allen INTs went off Gabe's hands or were because he ran the wrong route Caught some very difficult passes too Had some amazing toe tap sideline catches Scored a lot of TDs Seemed like a willing blocker but I'm not 100% sure about that Not worth what he got in FA, but a Bills reunion probably has more upside than downside.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not unless DQ doesn't make the team. DQ is in final year of his deal and may still have enough to get one more 2 year deal from someone else. He should be motivated to play better. With Carter moving to NT, Walker is probably the 5th DT on the team, maybe 6th after the PED cheat. Barring injury to someone else, I would not be surprised to see him a healthy scratch most of the year if DQ, Carter and the PED cheat from Pittsburgh play well. Could be game plan dependent too, if they are playing against a run heavy offense. If he is ahead of Carter on the depth chart then this kid is either really good, or Carter is a bust. -
Ranking The Last 25 Years of Week 1 Opening Games

Some great memories!!! I flew from Portland to Chicago in 2014 with my boys age 12 and 11 on a redeye. We landed 7am. Took L close to the stadium. Ate breakfast at Yolk. Walked to the stadium and went to natural history musem first to kill some time. Awesome finish. Stayed in the stands late. Then walked to downtown and had great steak dinner. Took the L back to O'Hara. Both boys were passed out in their Bills jerseys. They were so tired. One of my best pictures of my boys. Flew back that night. No luggage. No hotel. Great memories!!! The Fred Jackson stiff arm was one of the great drought highlights! -

Agree that loss to the Steelers was so deflating Me too! Same experience! Oddly calm most of the game, thinking Allen would turn it around. -
Agree I like the depth and adding talent at DT, Edge, and Corner. You can even say they added a possibel big nickel S with the kid from Ohio State. Would be nice to see Bosa,Solomon, and this kid play well enough to get rid of Epenesa. That said Epenesa made a few more plays last year than he did the year before. He and the rest of the DL disappeared against the Chiefs. They are still thin at LB but at least 2 of the three (Bernard, Milano, Williams) stay healthy they should be ok. All three can play either LB spot if needed. Yeah that's how I felt too. Lots of quick throws so hard to tell. I don't think he made an inside pass rush move the entire clip. No spin move. Give him a year to learn from Bosa should help. Bosa may be the most important offseason acquisition on defense.

The Battle for Jobs at Safety and Corner.

Good list. I agree with the list. Not sure if McD will keep two rookie reserves and start another. I think Hancock has a better shot of making the 53 than Strong but I would keep both. Might come down to White vs Jackson for the final reserve CB spot. -

Harbaugh's Chargers held Chief under 20 pts both times they played them. Pegula had a chance to upgrade the head coach and didn't. The defense got torched again in the playoffs. Bills would have won the SuperBowl last year with Harbaugh. McDermott is 7-7 in the playoffs. Dan Reeves was 11-9. Marv Levy was 11-8. Both with multiple SuperBowl appearances. All three with HOF QBs and you can argue Allen is playing better than Elway did under Reeves and Allen is better than Kelly ever was Only Schottenhemier was much worse at 5-13. We have a HC problem. McDermott seems like a genuinely nice human being and he is a wonderful ambassador for the fans and the city of Buffalo. Those are important things but they are not as important as winning a Championship for our city and our fans. I got suspended last time I posted all truthful statements as I have above and my opinion. Probably will get suspended again. But there are more and more people like me after every playoff loss that say it's time for a change. McDermott has been giving every resource on defense. He has new players at every level of the defense and as Beane has pointed out has a top 5 offense mostly returning intact. Barring injury to Allen, it has to be SuperBowl win or McDermott needs to go. -
What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
So many to choose from... I will go with Bills Cardinals storm game, November 1990. I was in college and drove up and back for the game. -
Leodis ran a 4.39. He could run with almost anyone. But he was too dumb to play the position.
-
Careful. You can't criticize McDermott on this board

Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
We can beat any of them. I think Baltimore, KC, and LA Chargers could all beat Bills in the playoffs. Baltimore and Chargers can run on our defense. Not sure Chargers have enough in the passing game with their current WRs. Of those three I am least worried about KC. Kelce is a corpse out there now. KC o-line is worse. Jones is still dominant but he is getting older too - he will be 31 this season. I understand the fear of Cincinnati but I think they have a bottom 5 defense again and probably will not even make the playoffs. -

I'm going to guess they repeat the opener from last year with Baltimore and KC on Sunday or Monday night. They will save Bills KC for Nov again.
