  1. I will laugh my ass off and then dig up the old “What happens if the Bills draft Josh Allen” thread. Unfortunately I don’t think the Bills see Josh allen (the linebacker) as a fit in their defense
  2. Eddie Oliver....Brian Burns....Josh Allen (the LB, not the QB) All are too small and Maybin-like
  3. I don’t see this happening. They traded up specifically to put Edmunds at MLB. I can’t see that scenario play out. I think White goes 4 to the Raiders anyway
  4. In terms of talent he wasn’t the worst pick by any means. Many had him ranked in the Top 5 if not higher. The problem is the price that Whaley paid for him and the circumstances are it. The trade for Sammy was widely panned and even laughed at by most draft observers and journalists because its widely known that you don’t give that type of return for WR. Especially when you don’t have a QB. It was clear that this move was about making a splash for a new owner. It wasn’t a “risky” move, it was a reckless move and a big part of the reason why Doug Whaley is now small potatoes in the XFL
  5. I don’t know if the Bills will trade all the way down to 23, but it could happen given the talent available in Round 2. But if they do, I don’t see any way that they trade up for Dexter Lawrence
  6. Because there’s not enough threads like “Bills have interest in Frankie Clarke” already Funny how no one likes this take ????
  7. Im going to disagree on EJ Manuel being “perfectly fine.” Yes they did trade down for an additional pick, but it doesn’t change the fact that EJ was not rated as a Round 1 pick or even Round 2 draft pick on most boards. He likely was rated in the 3rd or 4th round. In his his infinite wisdom, Buddy Nix decides to make EJ a 1st round draft pick. He just didn’t have that type of talent and never should have been selected. In doing so, it put unrealistic expectations on EJ in the organization and the fan base. This pick was dreadful
  8. Let’s look back to past Bills drafts and find which picks set the team back. Below are my thoughts: Sammy Watkins 2014 (R1, #4) - this move really hurt the Bills. Sammy was good when healthy but it’s fair to say he was far from the “generational talent” Doug Whaley claimed. A foolish trade which crippled the team. EJ Manuel 2013 (R1, #16) - This was a bad pick, not because EJ turned out to be a bad QB, but because he was not projected as a Round 1 QB. Buddy Nix’s poor management of the QB position forced him to draft a QB in a terrible QB draft. However he didn’t have to take EJ in Round 1. He could have waited till Round 3 or 4 and Manuel still would have been there. Basically Nix and Whaley drafted a QB with a Round 3 grade in the 1st round. Waste of a pick. CJ Spiller 2010 (R1, #9) - CJ showed some great flashes and had 1 great year but it was not enough to live up anywhere near his top 10 selection. Also in 2010 the Bills has Marshawn Lynch and Freddy Jackson on the roster. There was no need to draft a RB that high. A foolish pick by Buddy who could’ve been influenced by Ralph Wilson (who reportedly loved drafting running backs) Torell Troupe (R2, #41). Terrible terrible terrible selection by Buddy. Not only passing on homegrown Rob Gronkowski but drafting a player with injury issues who has an unproductive NFL career. These are a few high picks...let’s hear your selections.
  9. I don’t think so. It now sounds like Eddie Oliver will be off the board by the time the Bills draft at 9. But even if the Bills do get him at 9, they they will have to jump from round 2 to the middle of the first to get Hockenson. That likely will take a 1st round pick in 2020. I don’t see that happening
  10. In theory, you could draft Burns to play at DE and then move Shaquille inside in the DT rotation.
  11. Because that graphic is showing the highest rated player from each draft class over the past 4 years. Milano’s ranking isn’t higher than White’s 80.6
  12. I don’t think anyone quite knows the formula they use Right, part of the reason why he should surprise you as a choice
  13. The top individual career grade from a member of the last four draft classes in Buffalo. I was shocked to see Levi Wallace on the list. First off, because he wasn’t actually drafted and I don’t consider really him a member of last year’s draft class. He did play well last season but he only saw limited action. So it’s kind of like the baseball player who hits .380 during the first 2 weeks of the season But second I was surprised to see him rated higher than TreDavious White and Ron Darby. Also so according to PFF Darby and White are basically the same caliber. Personally I always thought White was much better. I think Shaq’s average 68 rating is spot on for him.
  14. I know the name Mike Jasper and I used to follow him on Twitter. I just didn’t remember he was #69. I think he’s coaching high school football now in his home town. Its a random Jersey because I dont even know if played in any regular season games
  15. Kind of a random player. How did you get his jersey? I didn’t even realize they sold it
  16. The merch that you have in boxes is likely pretty valuable. I follow someone on IG who is selling old Bills hats, sweatshirts, and other vintage memorabilia
  17. Interesting.... I didn’t consider the QB’s coming into play.
  18. According to my research the Bills has 3 GM’s during this time period. Ralph couldn’t hire the right person. It just shows how he lucked into Bill Polian Move on.... I’ve taken this to PM
  19. So why didn’t you complain about the Forrest Gregg post?
  20. Good post but I think you are reading into the numbers too much. Yes they signed 19 free agent but many of this players are on one-year deals. It’s unrealistic to assume all will make the roster and we set well could have a handful of those signings cut. I too can see Beane packing picks to move up, but again, there’s no guarantee that the lower round picks make the team. Yes Beane wants to keep as many draft picks as possible but it’s not a guarantee that 10 picks = 10 roster spots on Week 1.
