  1. Remember our boy Fitz had a 6 int game in his career. He now has more TDs than Troy Aikman. Regardless of how bad Peterman has looked anything could happen.
  2. Remember we could still, have Fitz... sure he’s only OK but honestly who have we had better since? Who the heck do we sign for a backup for Peterman if Allen is still hurt? Clipboard Jesus Charlie Whitehurst? Paxton Lynch? Where do you go from here? Trade McCoy to TB for Jameis Winston the interception machine Uber driver groper?
  3. Last year they got lucky and things are sliding fast. It’s bad enough,
  4. Clipboard Jesus is available he’s spent a lot of time studying playbooks...
  5. If Cleveland can axe Hue it’s time to get rid of these guys. I’ve seen enough crap play calling.
  6. I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, we really haven’t had a QB as good since (obviously Allen remains to be seen), we legitimately would have been no worse off had we kept Fitz all these years and just gotten a bunch of receivers for him (and I mean actual receivers, not these players the Bills find to line up in the receiver position). Watch the last quarter of the TB game yesterday and tell me what QB we’ve had since that looked remotely as poised. While he’ll never be the best I think he always could have been a moderately serviceable starter with the right talent. Like I said he is approaching and in some cases surpassing Troy Aikman’s numbers mostly coming off the bench as a backup for what we’re some legitimately pretty lousy teams. I mean we’ve marched talent like EJ and Peterman onto the field. Fitz is miles better than both.
  7. The problem is Fitz’s value increases every time he comes in and lights it up. Especially when you put him on a team with serviceable receivers. He’s proven he can basically step in anywhere and immediately be able to play. However his team’s starter is arguably worse than he is. So I can’t imagine TB would simply give him away for some lowly pick. Sure he could mentor someone and possibly play a few years but he’s carved out an interesting niche. He’s the ultimate journeyman backup. His career TDS and yards will likely rival some HOFers by the time things are all said and done, especially if he ends up starting after Winston’s Petermanlike debacle. The Fitzpatrick cycle exists because he’s almost good enough to be a starter, but he’s so good at this he’s also irresistible to sign as a backup due to the track record of great off the bench performance, and when he puts up numbers he makes it look exciting too. His career stats are close to Troy Aikman at this point. How crazy is that?
  8. Well if your QB is gonna get injured I’d rather have Fitzpatrick
  9. If Clappy doesn’t bench him for the remark, one more reason Clappy is not my coach,
  10. I don’t like Clappy. I think he’s good at building confidence amongst the players but conservative and prone to dumb decisions. That’s just my opinion.
  11. I think this QB class has the best opportunity to succeed since Kelly, Marino and Elway. Mayfield looks the most immediately polished but none of them look bad. I mean you really can’t even really evaluate Allen with these lousy receivers we have.
  12. You’ll never see me complain I was glad when they did.
  13. Seattle probably could have resigned him though, I don’t think they wanted him after he botched like 2 or 3 kicks in that one game they lost.
  14. I am not sure if they serve beer (they probably do they have a liquor license) but L’Isola D’Oro on camp has a wicked good Sicilian pizza. Major Toms in Hamburg has awesome pizza but I don’t think they’ve got beer.
  15. Hauschka was seriously one of the best pickups we could possibly have had. His release was as baffling as Dallas getting rid of Bailey, he had like one lousy game in Seattle and they axed him, one game and there were players that missed more kicks today than he did in that bad game. The kicking game is often under appreciated there is a reason these teams retain a good kicker when they get one. When you’ve got a player that’s almost automatic like Tucker, Vinatieri, Bryant, Bailey or any of those elite level kickers... it certainly feels good to not worry as much about those kicks doesn’t it?
  16. The officiating has been terrible for much of the game they wouldn’t pick up on that
  17. Our receivers have no separation, they should just do short dump passes to McCoy
  18. He still has the player mentality, a player goes for the win. Most coaches who never played or haven’t played in decades would play for the tie instead because it’s better for their record. He has a kicker that’s hit a 57 hit field goal this year so I suppose if you can get enough yardage you try the long kick.
  19. Gotta agree every time I see Clappy McDumbass clapping when we fumble or throw an int I want to punch him.
