  1. Which thread to comment in?
  2. Patrick Mahomes has already overtaken Muhammad Ali as the most beloved, influential sports person in the history of planet earth. An MVP and third straight Super Bowl this season will put him just below Jesus as the Greatest Human Being Of All Time
  3. Worthy. The Chiefs are geniuses and he has the best football player in the history of the sport throwing to him. Offensive rookie of the year
  4. I agree. We all know the Chiefs are going to three-peat. I think they play super relaxed this season a waltz their way to another title. oh man, imagine this place if Worthy gets a touchdown!
  5. Oh no, this guy is always wrong. Josh will now suffer a worse season than his rookie year
  6. They asked Goodell if he wanted a Brazilian and he got the wrong idea
  7. Patrick Mahomes wouldn’t have had to pick the dog up, it would have levitated into his arms.
  8. They arrested Jerry Rice by mistake, poor GOAT got 10 years in prison
  9. Just at a glance I’d say SNF looks much more interesting. A lot is dependent on whether teams like the Jets and Falcons are much better which I think they will be. Overall there are a lot more SNF games that stood out and caught my eye
  10. Never mind guys, at least we got Lamb
  11. I read the title and now can't stop thinking about Bill Bixby changing a tyre
  12. I tried that once but my boss made me finish out the shift. The passengers in my cab weren't happy one bit
  13. I'm old and dumb but wise enough to know my feelings about the league are a symptom of my age. I do get misty eyed for the way things were, but when I was a kid there were middle aged men like me who got misty eyed for the days of Lombardi and Namath. Sometimes I hook up my laptop to an old TV set and bring up videos of the NFL from the 80s on YouTube. I sit and watch them in my too small A Team pjs and then call my mom and ask her to bring me another cookie. Then my wife tells me to get off my ass and get one myself, and to stop calling her mom because that's weird.
  14. Geeky fact. This image is shown for a split second during Seven when Morgan Freeman is researching in the library, foreshadowing Paltrow getting her head chopped off.
  15. That thought did genuinely cross my mind but I was saving it for the season
  16. How long into game 1 or 2 before posters in the game thread start calling for McD to take over the play calls? I'm guessing first half of the Dolphins game
  17. A Virgil is just what this team was missing. He can carry Josh's 250 million dollar belt as he walks to the field.
  18. The only knock on Josh that I think is fair is the criticism of his genuine boneheaded ints. The ints in general I don't give a ***** about because if he doesn't make the throws that leads to those then he stops making such spectacular plays that lead to points. But some of his ints, just a few each year, are the genuine insane throws when you cannot even begin to defend them. The one that springs to mind the most is that one into the end zone against the Jets on opening day last season. That was just a reckless throw that never stood a chance, and his mistakes in that game are what led to the loss. Like we could have handed it off most of the night and the Jets were never going to win. He got carried away with it being Monday night football, opening week of the year. I'd also say he gets too down when he's having a bad game. A guy like Burrow doesn't seem as affected by it, but Josh looks borderline suicidal on the sidelines and in the presser after. I'd like to see him shake himself out of those funks when things are going badly, if he improved that part of the mental game he'd be unstoppable IMO
  19. This whole list was thought up to get some extra click bait before the season. The fact that Bryce Young is down as one of the most underrated QBs says it all. The guy was a rookie who did nothing. How does that make him underrated?
  20. Jesus. He looked about 45. Amazing how relatively young people look old when you look back at old footage, even though you're getting old yourself but still think you're young when you look in the mirror.
  21. I agree. I said a few years ago when they did the NFL All Time 100 team or whatever it was called, I really liked him as a guest on that. The thing with Belichick is, as much as I loathed him when he was coaching, and as miserable as he was in pressers, he was mainly miserable because of the stupid questions. When he gets asked an actual question about football or football history he can talk about the most obscure players you had no idea existed and make it sound interesting. He was on the McAfee show the other day and his thoughts on roster cut downs and the new kick off rules were really fascinating to hear. In spite of the cheating and the arrogance (I can't even put into words how much I hated him and the Pats when he was there), you have to respect his knowledge of the game and to be honest I'd rather hear him talking about the game in a serious way than one of the countless d*ckheads on ESPN who just shout and scream and pollute the waters with endless clickbait.
  22. hahahahaha! That's like "electrocution declared winner over lethal injection by man on death row"
  23. Ah thanks, I always wondered what position he played
  24. Don’t talk with your mouth numb
