Apparently Sabalenka is a Chiefs fan

I've only just clicked on this thread. Have many people suggested that Pegula winning the US Open will be a good omen for the Bills?

Packers @ Eagles in Brazil - Sept 6 at 8:15pm
RobbRiddick replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I was surprised by his burst. The game itself was very sloppy, almost to the point of embarrassment. I saw a Rich Eisen segment yesterday where he was saying how the NFL continues to get better and better and better. I guess I just see things in a different way. All the constant flags being thrown, the way so much is geared to the offense. Touchback on a KO? Let's bring it out to the 30 and make it even easier for them to score points! More points = more excitement, even if the game itself is incompetent and sloppy. Obviously a lot of the sloppiness comes from weaker camps and less preseason play by the starters but I find it so annoying when a defense makes a play on 3rd down only for the yellow to stain the field, penalty, automatic first down. That roughing call for KC on 3rd and long was infuriating to me. Yes the lineman did touch Mahomes' head but I just wish they'd let them play sometimes and not give them easy get outs when the defense has done such a good job. And yes, I know we've benefitted from many Josh Allen flops on 3rd down, but even I sit there looking at the replay, shaking my head at how silly it's getting -

Patrick Mahomes has already overtaken Muhammad Ali as the most beloved, influential sports person in the history of planet earth. An MVP and third straight Super Bowl this season will put him just below Jesus as the Greatest Human Being Of All Time -

I agree. We all know the Chiefs are going to three-peat. I think they play super relaxed this season a waltz their way to another title. oh man, imagine this place if Worthy gets a touchdown! -
Oh no, this guy is always wrong. Josh will now suffer a worse season than his rookie year

They asked Goodell if he wanted a Brazilian and he got the wrong idea

Patrick Mahomes wouldn’t have had to pick the dog up, it would have levitated into his arms.

They arrested Jerry Rice by mistake, poor GOAT got 10 years in prison -
Which interests you more this season... SNF or MNF???
RobbRiddick replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just at a glance I’d say SNF looks much more interesting. A lot is dependent on whether teams like the Jets and Falcons are much better which I think they will be. Overall there are a lot more SNF games that stood out and caught my eye -

NFL feeding itself to the sharks (Private Equity)
RobbRiddick replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm old and dumb but wise enough to know my feelings about the league are a symptom of my age. I do get misty eyed for the way things were, but when I was a kid there were middle aged men like me who got misty eyed for the days of Lombardi and Namath. Sometimes I hook up my laptop to an old TV set and bring up videos of the NFL from the 80s on YouTube. I sit and watch them in my too small A Team pjs and then call my mom and ask her to bring me another cookie. Then my wife tells me to get off my ass and get one myself, and to stop calling her mom because that's weird. -
Your newest Buffalo Bill... WR Jalen Virgil!

Geeky fact. This image is shown for a split second during Seven when Morgan Freeman is researching in the library, foreshadowing Paltrow getting her head chopped off. -

How long into game 1 or 2 before posters in the game thread start calling for McD to take over the play calls? I'm guessing first half of the Dolphins game- 213 replies

The only knock on Josh that I think is fair is the criticism of his genuine boneheaded ints. The ints in general I don't give a ***** about because if he doesn't make the throws that leads to those then he stops making such spectacular plays that lead to points. But some of his ints, just a few each year, are the genuine insane throws when you cannot even begin to defend them. The one that springs to mind the most is that one into the end zone against the Jets on opening day last season. That was just a reckless throw that never stood a chance, and his mistakes in that game are what led to the loss. Like we could have handed it off most of the night and the Jets were never going to win. He got carried away with it being Monday night football, opening week of the year. I'd also say he gets too down when he's having a bad game. A guy like Burrow doesn't seem as affected by it, but Josh looks borderline suicidal on the sidelines and in the presser after. I'd like to see him shake himself out of those funks when things are going badly, if he improved that part of the mental game he'd be unstoppable IMO
