  1. If things got crazy and they did go after it, I say just call the team Buffalo. No nickname at all. As someone else said, the Bills part makes no sense and has nothing to do with the logo and other branding. The name Buffalo is so badass as a place name anyway, and the logo is great as well. So I'd be more than happy with just Buffalo
  2. I've been hearing Braves or Warriors. I like Capitols
  3. I think it's great that Nike have withdrawn their support of the Redskins. Not only does it help highlight the offensive team name, but also helps distract the public from the fact that Nike are quite happy to oppress the workers in the far east who produce their clothes. "a 2018 report by the Clean Clothes Campaign, found that Adidas and Nike still pay “poverty” wages to workers."
  4. To be fair, you can see why people might think this. We've seen a lot of teams crash and burn after being predicted great seasons, remember the Jags a couple of years ago, or the Eagles 'dream team'. It will be interesting to see how this team handles the pressure and expectation.
  5. It's pretty embarrassing how some companies only do the 'right' thing when they see no other way out, other than negative press and loss of revenue.
  6. As Bill Hicks said (regarding people being offended by individuals burning the flag), the soldiers didn't die for the flag, they died for what the flag represents... which is the right to burn the flag. Honestly, I'm always shocked that someone would be so irate at the idea of a player kneeling during the anthem. Imagine if a member of your family was killed and you were refused justice, everyone refused to even listen to you. Then a player hears about it and kneels during the anthem to draw attention to your story. Would you tell them "thanks but no thanks"?
  7. As long as he can kick the game winning FG in SB 55 (...in Tampa)
  8. Brady told Robert Kraft they can cure STIs so Bob bought 5 cases. He always takes three with a glass of water following a massage.
  9. Did he say "He's baaaaaaaaack" at the end or "he's faaaaaaaaat" ?
  10. I fully expect the Pats to start employing dwarfs in the hope that each one only counts as half a person
  11. I like the pants that have one leg cut off. Tom Brady wears a similar pair, except his cuts the a*s out of his
  12. He's more of a 'processed foods' kinda guy
  13. This would be a good time to become a Bills fan.
  14. To be fair, most of them have only been fans since 2001 so they probably don't even know who Shula was
  15. Such sad news. One of the things that sucks more and more as you get older is that so many people who played such a big part of your youth end up fading away one by one. He was a rival, but I always enjoyed his battles with Marv (thankfully Marv won most of them) and I liked his work as sportscaster. Thank God for YouTube so whenever we're feeling misty eyed we can go back and spend time with these guys.
  16. Knew he wouldn't go NE. I have a feeling the Pats get Rosen if the Dolphins release him
  17. Unbelievable that this kid is only 22.
  18. Christian Wade was in that video?
  19. This guy is in more dire need of a b**wjob than any white man in history
  20. I could definitely see him going to the Pats but it would surprise me. I think Belichick wants to win with a no name to prove his genius
  21. I swear to God, I did question the school uniform but she said she was going to a Britney Spears convention
  22. Would never want him as a starter but would make a great backup imo
  23. "Bryan, how do you feel about your son signing with the Bills?" "What the f**k do you think? What the f**k do you think?"
  24. It's amazing the difference a few feet can make. If that kick is just a few feet to the left then this is easily the best SB ever for me. Imagine how history would be different. And can I just take this moment to gripe about Thurman not getting the MVP. I don't care what anyone says, it's bull####. The MVP isn't the best player from the winning team, it's the best player on the field. If you could pick one player from the Super Bowl and he'll play like that for a majority of games for you, who would you pick? That's the way it should be thought of. And when you look at it that way, Thomas was clearly the MVP.
