Living in Jets Country, I like seeing them being upset by a bad Miami team, although being ahead of Miami is also a good feeling. Either way Its a win win situation.

What about the fact that so many opposing team fans can get tickets. Especially when they buy them in advance with the group rate options. Yes it sells the stadium out but when we heard people cheering for the Pats on Sunday it sounded like we were the visiting team.

Based on last weeks lackluster showing, I couldn't help but think that the Bills could have benefited from one more preseason game. Considering the last game vs the Lions, the starters weren't in there for a long period and needed more reps. I've read that the players don't want a longer exhibition season, but I don't know how a team can gel without it. Oops, misspelled preseason.

This story is true: This past Sunday 9/5/04 my family and I were enjoying a bday party for a friends child. They had the "right" to use their local park with various amenities and restrict any outside visitors. At one point later in the day, my daughter was playing on the monkey bars and was attempting to climb across. She's only 3 and was having a tought time at it. There was a gentlemen there who at first I thought was a father of one of the other children, there were close to 50 kids at the partyand hard to keep track of who was who, but it turned out to be a "stranger". This "kind" stranger was helping all the little ones go across the bars, one of those pull your self across by your arms and swing your feet thingy. At first I didn't mind, but then the host of the party alerted us that this person was not with the party. Luckily we had an off duty cop with us who escorted this gentlemen out of the park. When he was confronted he seemed a bit cocky that he had to leave and was acting the part of "I wasn't doing anything wrong" This middle aged man had no right to be near these kids as they played amongst themselves. Before anyone asks, we were watching our daughter and we thought that this man was a parent of one of the other kids. This incident happened no more then 30 feet away from us.

The directv/dish network merger was shot down by the courts. If you want NFL Sunday ticket the only place to get it is Directv. That may change in the future, but thats how it stands today.

God I hope they don't do well. For the past 2 years I've been going to the Jest home game against us and its been painful. Sucks to hear commets like, wide right or my personel favorite "What the hell is a bill anyway?"

What makes me even more pissed off is when you hear of negligent homicide cases. Like when someone leaves their kids in the car and they die due to heat. How FUGGEN stupid do you have to be leave your kids in a car when you go shopping or work.

Of course, I coudn't agree more. Violence in general is apalling. Especially when I see young children hurt or killed it makes my blood boil. I have two small children and love them more then anything. Everytime I hear or read about a child murdered a little peace of me dies as well. Sounds corny, I know, but I couldn't be more truthful.

I have discovered a website that showed the beheading of a Nepalese (sp) hostage in Iraq. Much like a car accident, I had to stop and look. I really regret it now. I'm not very political, and for me the jury is still out on Iraq, but when I see what these people are capable there it makes you wonder how we can all be part of the same species.
