  1. I remember it well. Obviously I was in the Oasis camp but I do like Blur as well and have grown to appreciate them more the older I've got! I remember buying the Parklife album from a store in town after the soccer game I was going to was postponed so I had some spare cash. End of the Century is probably my favourite track on that album. After that I like Country House, Charmless Man & The Universal all from The Great Escape. The early to mid-90s were just fantastic all round. I'm so glad they were my growing up years.
  2. Those Wrexham fans haven't had it this good since they supported Liverpool in 2020.
  3. No further questions, Your Honour 😆
  4. Leyton Orient are another London club. They've just been promoted to League One. The stadium is in the E10 area of London. E10 is also the home of the famous Hackney Marshes which playing fields holds 88 full sized soccer fields used by amateur teams and leagues from all over London. Stevenage is a boring commuter town outside London. Don't ever go there.
  5. I said "A" game. Might be Leyton Orient v Stevenage 😜
  6. Anybody in the position where they just want to have tickets in hand quickly and don't mind paying very over the odds there are plenty on StubHub https://www.stubhub.co.uk/nfl-london-2023-jacksonville-jaguars-vs-buffalo-bills-tickets-tottenham-hotspur-stadium-8-10-2023/event/105905006/ Could well work out that paying an extortionate amount for tickets might offset increased cost of travel if you book that later?
  7. NFL UK posted a photo of Allen this morning and I thought he looked like he was a few pounds lighter.
  8. The Jets have just re-turfed their pitch which is good for Araiza as he likes playing on fields with no grass.
  9. I think most people did. I was around 7,000th in the queue and when I was allowed into the site to buy all the cheapest options had sold out. Almost unremarkably, I received an email from StubHub about 30 minutes later telling me tickets were on sale for the game.
  10. "I had her like this over the table and her granddaughter walked in. That was enough wrestling practice for one night."
  11. I agree. Season ticket holders should always get first dibs.
  12. I sure will check it out. If we go to London for the game a day early we're planning on going to visit a few of the London stadiums so will add Highbury to the list if we do. I suppose a lot will depend on what the expected structural damage after demolition of most of the stadium as to whether what could be left to be used as part of future building? My soccer team have moved to a new stadium the couple of years and they've only been allowed to keep a small part of the terrace of the old stadium which will be incorporated into gardens where new housing is being built on the site.
  13. Gunner will definitely be your man on this one. I sadly never even got to Highbury while it was standing.
  14. I must say, I didn't particularly notice anything too bad about Niagara Falls when we went. However, I do remember each person/group catching the bus got progressively higher the further away we got from Buffalo and closer to Niagara Falls. Pleasant enough bus ride out of the city and back though.
  15. General ticket sale is in June.
  16. Probably rules me out as I'll be taking my son as well.
  17. I'm going to go in and see what the prices are like first. As a Yorkshireman I'm on a tight budget as well 😁
  18. Some Premium Packages go on sale today at 12:00 UK time (07:00 ET). https://ticketmastersportuk.queue-it.net/softblock/?c=ticketmastersportuk&e=nfltottenham11&t=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.eticketing.co.uk%2Fnfl-tottenham%2Fhospitality%2Flandingpage&cid=en-GB&rticr=0
  19. I hadn’t seen Local Hero until last Christmas. Was a great film.
  20. That's great but it's no 2014 Poland
  21. And they can make a 10 days/fortnight of it too this year.
  22. Yes, I suspect you're right considering the Jags following the NFL has drummed up over here over the years. I'm a bit surprised Bills season ticket holders don't get first dibs at the tickets. It would have meant a lot more tickets being available but Spurs is an excellent venue.
  23. It works fine for me. Try https://www.buffalobills.com/schedule/ and then click on "Ticket Information" next to the Jaguars game details.
  24. I think I've been to Bruges but that was on a soccer tour back in the early/mid 90s. We did a few cities in Belgium but can't be sure or confess to knowing much about either city. I know it has 2 professional top flight soccer teams (Cercle & Club) 👍 My sister has been to Bruges a couple of times and enjoys it.
  25. It was not an offer. That's what I'll say in court anyway. https://shp.csharmony.epsilon.com/pages/NFL_US/2023_London_ROI/?ck= You'll have to watch In Bruges before you head there 🙂
