  1. Why not surround our great QB with better skill guys and an improved O-line. As it is ,Josh will find a way, but Sanders and McKenzie must be replaced with speed and end game production. Another good RB would also help.
  2. Garrett was terrible with Dak, got fired in season by the lowly Giants. Childress was bad with Minn and has never established himself as a winner. Remember me touting Dorsey. He's going to be good. He was instrumental in making Josh the best in the business.
  3. All scrap heap, failed HCs and OCs. Childress,Garrett, those two kill your argument right off the bat. Again our HOF QB wants Dorsey and trusts him. Means nothing right.
  4. Listen, I understand you like Doug and what he did with Foles the SB year was nothing if not miraculous. His subsequent years were bad and as a consequence they had to offload their 1st rd QB and Foles. Besides why would he come to Buffalo to be Sean's OC That the formula for disaster.
  5. Since you insist on calling my assertion "ridiculous " without the courtesy of offering a legitimate reason,I can only infer that you're trying to insult me. Let me tell you,in this my final installment in this tedious back and forth, why it's not ridiculous. Since 1994 when the Bills went to the SB,they've had numerous OCs. 28 years of losing and being the whipping boy of the AFCE. Now we have a team that has some talent, if you don't have quality playcalling, why should anyone expect better results. Dorsey has been at the side of Dabol and has Josh's trust. He should provide continuity, not to mention the skill players all want him. If you prefer a failed OC off the scrap heap, good luck.
  6. And then was fired shortly after for running that franchise into the ground and alienating the fanbase because he thought he invented modern offensive football strategy. By the way, why hasn't Doug gotten a sniff of OC or HC jobs since being fired? Could be his head is to big for the room.
  7. Why is everything a gotcha moment with you. I gave my opinion about Beane not retaining Dorsey and how it would be a negative. I didn’t retract anything. You're in no position to call anything ridiculous. You have your opinion, that's all.
  8. Did Josh ascend to elite status under Dabol/Dorsey, as opposed to the losing OCs Beane brought before Dabol, who were replaced in short order. You want to diminish what Dabol/Dorsey accomplished, where we we should have advanced to a home Championship game if not for Sean's epic brain freeze the last 13 seconds, go right ahead. Don't prioritize what makes Josh comfortable with a playcaller. Taking any leftover failed OC will be fine. Some of the people just want to be arbitrary.
  9. What's at play? This is just fodder on this board. You don’t know that Dabol has reached out to Dorsey. My point to all the conspiracy theorists is Josh wants this guy so Beane has a responsibility to the best player on our team to get him. Why are you deluding yourself into accepting his departure as no big deal. Accept whatever happens, accept impotence. Accept mediocrity.
  10. It may not result in killing our chances, but wouldn't you want to make the most important player on your team and arguably the best QB in football, comfortable with his playcaller if you want to maximize our chances. If Josh has expressed his preference on an OC, Beane has a mandate to get him. It's not as if there's multiple teams vying for him It's the Giants, the worst team in football by most accounts.
  11. Keep accepting mediocrity, the birthright of Bills Fans. If Beane can't retain a QB coach, how can we trust him to improve the roster with FAs. He's a freaking QB coach who hasn't gotten a sniff with regards to an OC job by anyone other than the coach-killing Giants.
  12. Why would Dorsey want to go to a place where coaches go to die. Dabol has no talent,no cap space and ownership that has lost patience with losing. Last 2 coaches, 2 and out. If we can't retain a key piece of our coaching staff, who 17 really wants, Beane sucks.
  13. Like I said, with the prospect of HC job in the future, work with 17 or Danny Dimes. If money similar,no Brainerd. The Giants are coach killers. What does lol oh boy mean? Sean is viewed universally as the sole reason for 13 seconds. It has Nothing to do with Dabol, or Dorsey that we are not good enough. Okay
  14. This is how you judge the ability of a GM. Don't be misled,if you're an OC who wants to be a H C, do you want to work with Josh or Danny Fumbles, if the money is similar.
  15. Beane should head the words of Josh when he gives his heartfelt endorsement of Dorsey. No excuses will be accepted for not signing this guy. Your coach destroyed the collective morale of your fan base by frittering away or chances to go to the SB. Don't kill our chances to go in the future.
  16. In game situational decisions by ultra-concervative coaches can undermine courageous, historic performances by mega-talented, prideful hero players. My tolerance and forgiving acceptance of these soul-crushing failures is wearing thin as I grow older. Supporters of Sean and McCarthy and Staley will offer excuses like "they get their players to really play hard though". Believe this, when you're personally responsible for devastating playoff losses, those players who left their guts on the field will lose their will eventually.
  17. Why dwell on the kickoff and whose fault it was. Any half-assed football fan said to anyone listening after the go ahead TD , "they're going to pooch or squib it to kill a few more seconds " This isn't on anyone but Sean for whatever reason it happened. Can we move on.
  18. Why would anyone want Barkley? He doesn't stay healthy, he makes more than we want to pay a RB, and he's an underachiever.
  19. Pretty impressive little assessment. Much respect for that.
  20. Well put and absolutely the only way to get past this.
  21. Any objective observer who witnessed Allen's historic, superhuman performance the last 2 weeks must come away with the same conclusion (even Allen hater Nick Wright),Josh can play QB on a different level than anyone who ever played the position. If you're starting an NFL team ,unanimous GMs would say "Josh please"
  22. Frazier has worn out his welcome in every job after getting the team to a ceiling of being competitive. He's not aggressive enough and refuses to mKe adjustments. Dabol is good but he deserves a shot at a HC job. Josh makes players and coaches better. Dabol will realize that soon enough.
  23. It's all BS. Sean is responsible under any circumstance for what Bass did. If he didn't confirm that Bass knew he had to kick the ball in the field of play, he's guilty of incompetence. What happened is that the wrong decision played out and resulted in an epic collapse. Sean has to own it.
  24. Ed Oliver must be retained. He is very effective and will get better and better. The pressure that we generated mostly came up the middle with Ed .
