Matt Parrino - "Claypool has been most consistent WR during OTAs"
Warcodered replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a fun tweet, Bills reporter goes "He's having a real good OTAs he might make the team." immediate overreaction follows "Comeback incoming?" -
How important is superbowl experience?
Warcodered replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah that's true, so much goes into getting there that it's a ridiculous thing to consider as a way for a team to improve to win it, you get there just do it then. The point I was just trying to make was that I'm sure it does technically add something in the same way playoff experience does, even if it's not a realistic idea. -

I mean it does mean something, it's just at the point when you get to the Super Bowl you've already had to go through so many hoops to get there and are generally always playing another very good team or at least a very competent one and have to be one yourself. So the amount of bump in your odds wouldn't be all that noticeable. -
I mean he would have experience transferring the skillset.

Heterosexual Awesomeness Month

This is so hilariously stupid, love to know how he's going to test for this. "Nope sorry no free drink for you I can smell that dick on your breath." "But how do you....?" -
Jefferson gets paid: 4yr, $140m contract signed
Warcodered replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall
What they need to do now is get in a position to get a QB, having Jefferson for him would be good, but really right now it's a game of burning his value as time goes by without the QB they need or using one of the biggest assets they have to get in that position. But it's not like they're in a position to make that decision right now, they will probably pick high next draft, but they're already missing a 2nd round pick, still need to see how the rest of the order is going to shake out, and if there is even a QB candidate they're interested in this draft. -

If the kicker is being forced to be involved on a consistent basis then that does make sense, not Knox specifically though maybe that does for whatever reason, but if your kicker has to take a hit every kickoff you're better off protecting your FG specialist and having another athlete with a leg for generally the less technical kick.

No, watching the games with Dorsey and then with Brady the difference was visible. One offense came to a screeching halt, and one was finding different ways to get it done, pretty or ugly.

Martin will still be a legend to me for not punting until game 2 with the Bills and the first 2 punts he had were both muffed by the opposing team 1st recovered by us 2nd one not so much but the ensuing drive ends with them fumbling to us anyway. It was so ridiculous especially since it followed the New England Playoff no punt game and the KC coin flip game, was like the Bills don't punt but when they do they get the ball back anyway.

Waddle didn't even get paid more than his already signed 30 year old teammate, feel like that's a bit ridiculous.

He's getting older and they basically ran him into the ground last year, started having some injuries. Would not be surprised if he continued to have those issues.

Yeah got them mixed up Haack was our punter in 21 and lost the job to Punt God who lost the job to the inevitable media monkey on his back, and Martin got the job that season. Haack came back last year on the PS which we'd already decided we'd needed to improve from him before.
-
That he knows about so far.

Wow they've got to feel good about the guy they brought in, as much as Haack did worry me having some early struggles last season he pulled it together down the stretch mostly. So for him to be out this early they have to be pretty comfortable rolling with the replacement over him. Actually Martin has been our punter whoops.
