You either support Ukraine or you support Russia in this matter. It is a clear time because bullets are flying and people are dying. Russia continues to attack Ukranian civilians at will and to disregard basics of the Geneva Conventions. Russia's leaders commit human rights violations daily at home and now they commit war crimes abroad, align themselves with the worst dictatorships in the world, and people like you want to defend them. It is astounding. The US has abdicated a leadership role in this matter because Putin knows just how to settle Donald, stroke his ego. If something good comes of this it is that since we have seemingly abandoned the Ukranian situation, they are picking up their own slack. We'll see how bad the crying gets when they start to act independently because they know we are incapable of serious foreign policy relations at this time. We can agree to disagree here.

Show me where I stated I was against a peace accord? If there was one to be had that actually secured peace and wasn't just some lie from Russia, I would be for it. But, only on Ukraine's terms. I am for peace and against capitulation to Russian aggression. The US walked away from any sort of leadership role here and lost all credibility. Putin knows that. Anything that Putin will accept now will include capitulation to Russia and its whims. That is what I am against. There is some fervor here for Ukraine just to "accept peace at any cost". That is a joke in itself. If they accept some "deal" with the Russians in a complete position of power the Russians will simply abuse it to their advantage. Ukraine and Zelensky know this. EVERYBODY knows this! Ukraine's only hope now is a strong European Union. The US is backing out of world leadership to enrich the select few that now control our country. We'll see what how that goes.

No, insinuating that somehow Zelensky is at "fault" is a Russian talking point. He has made multiple attempts at peace but Putin wants NOTHING to do with peace. Maybe if you understood something about how Putin operates and the type of leader he is you would know this. If calling me names makes you feel better then have at it.

War is a terrible thing, as this war is a terrible thing. It was initiated by Putin and Russia and it continues to be aggressively pursued by Russia. The insinuation that Ukraine can somehow "pursue peace" or "end this war" and remain a country where its citizens are safe and not at the whim of a murderous dictator is nothing but a Russian talking point. Are you a Russian? If not, why would you EVER defend its aggression against Ukraine? I thank the lord every day that our country and its military isn't run by the absolute nancies that post on this thread about how Zelensky should "back down" and end the war in Ukraine. Yeah, not quite. We have been sucked into a consumerist society where everything we buy is junk...our fridges, washers, dryers, microwaves are all created with an engineered obsolescence that guarantees they end up in the landfill in 5 years. When I visit my parents house I use the same wall oven and microwave I did when I was a teenager. It's tough to get ahead for people and raise their kids. Add the cost of technology and we're all in it.

I agree. Then, why cut necessities for people like Medicare, medical research, public foundations, education etc...? The appearance of that seems to be to fund billionaire tax cuts.

The jaw dropper for me is that people voted for this. I know some MAGA voters who literally LOST their jobs in the federal gov't and/or were reclassified and now make less money and work more and they believe that it's some type of sacrifice. Meanwhile, back in Gotham, this bill adds like 3 trillion to the deficit. Do you have anything to add about what's contained in the bill?

I think there's a nuance here that you're missing. Many women don't necessarily want up front empathy, but they do want to see something in a man that shows an empathetic side. I believe this relates instinctually to the woman's necessity to have a man that will fall in love with a raise a child that is created with her. There is an instinct that tells her that this man will stick around to raise this child, important in nature. Once a woman can pin down that idea in a man, she allows herself to commit to the relationship. If he's just a masculine dude, she still might bang him out of attraction but it's just transitory. Think, "man with a puppy" is attractive.

Interesting and insightful post. I'm a bit older and married so I missed the dating app culture. It seems that you would place the blame mostly on the app and the culture and expectations that surround it. Would you suggest that young people simply steer clear of the apps altogether if they're trying to find a long term match?

Yeah I missed it because we’re not in court here and anyone can be “propositioned” for anything at any time. I’m sure the first definition in Google is what you suggested and I admitted that. Usually people apply the usage of verbs and adjectives and such to the context of a discussion. I’m not an “outraged citizen”…I think something that is often missed is a reaction to an “act”, which people then condemn as “something”…in your case I’ve become an “outraged citizen”. I just have an opinion on his behavior that is a little stronger than “cheesy” and “poor taste”. I’m certainly allowed an opinion different than yours and I don’t care to characterize you in any way. James O'Keefe. I was literally there. I was at the other side of the monument reading the wall with the Medal of Honor winners. He had the kids on video, they didn't know who he was.
