I actually want them to be in a situation where they can rest all their starters in Week 18…. Give them a chance to get over the inevitable bumps a lot will be carrying and be fresh for the playoff campaign … Last year they were fighting for their lives to make the playoffs in Week 18…guys got injured in that game and the WC game and they were then at a big disadvantage against the Chiefs …

Not sure if it’s Carolina, but my prediction is that Jones will be a bridge QB for some team nursing a rookie QB in 2025 …likely to underperform in that role and be demoted to backup level at a different team for 2026 …
