I wouldnt classify it as a disaster of a draft.. Not obviously at 2017 or 2018 levels, but they got good value out of Singletary and J Johnson... Even Sweeney as a 7th.. Not every pick is going to be signed to a second contract Knox was a great pick around 100... Ford a disaster and Oliver didnt live up to where they picked him.. He ended up being the first and worst DT taken out of the 5 in the first Round so Beane whiffed there.. Still.. Have a look at some of the Whaley drafts and those from the early 2000's ..

I saw an interview with Beasley the day after the season ended... He was making it very clear that he wanted to be back... appears that wont be happening so perhaps this has led to some bitterness on his part.. seems he is going out of his way to take some shots...

Not sure the situation losing Hyde, Poyer, Tre and Dawkins is as dire as you think.. these guys have all peaked and are all getting reasonable coin and can be replaced.. preferably in the draft over the next few years, but even a couple in FA if need be.. Hopefully they can keep kicking that Salary Cap can down the road another few years.. I want them to do every thing they can also to maximise this window in the short term.. but not sure that D Hop is the best answer.. he has got two years left in him at most... I would rather Jeudy to be honest.. that connection is stone cold silent at the moment compared to this hype .. so that probably means its more likely to happen...
