Transparency is occurring in these hearings, showing all of the justices have done similar things. None of them were "hiding" it. It appears the rules for disclosure didn't require reporting, or at best, not clear in certain situations. Perhaps the rules need to be strengthened? Can we please move on to the business our electeds should be concerned with?

I'd be interested in seeing actual data regarding suicide. I suspect there to be 100 reasons or more that contribute to suicide and with our youth, a lot of it falls back to the family situation the child is in. This might sound callous. but I think a trans that commits suicide has many other factors that lead them to suicide, including many factors in their family life. But like our covid deaths a couple of years ago, trans is getting all the blame.

VA expects the cuts will be across the board, evenly, and then further assumes defense won't get any of it. Their second assumption might be reasonable. Their first assumption probably isn't. IMO anyways

Civility, compassion and empathy are lacking today, and it feels like its at an increasing pace. Suicide has increased 35% since the early 1990s. Every single youth organization I hear of is screaming for better and greater mental health resources. It is not just trans kids. Not even close.

Does New York? I think Florida was one of three states that did allow (CA and IL the other two). The bill repeals a 2014 bill that allowed undocumented to practice law.

So you're questioning my sincerity about fairness in women's sports? Why so? I can assure you my concern is authentic. But you're going to believe what you want to believe. I respect your feelings about sports for trans and would support ways to address that. I strongly believe we shouldn't be negatively impacting women to accomplish this.

Explain what you mean when you say "priorities". This suggests to me that you believe trans men can only compete against women and that there's no other possible solution or option. You think trans women have to compete against women. Period. End of story. The hell with fairness to biological women! Why do you limit yourself this way?

I don't think a ban has to be universal. I think you think, however, that complete access has to be universal. To not allow trans men to compete against women? I think many have covered this in this thread. What are you not understanding?
