  1. This has been proven when either has been on the sidelines with injuries. I guess one could argue who the QB2 was, but I think it speaks more to the rest of the offense on the field.
  2. Was Basham a hit or a miss in the draft? Sticking with a miss longer than you should is compounding a mistake, if you can even call a draft pick a mistake. I'd say the drafting is the easy part. The development of these guys and the subsequent roster management is the harder part IMO. That's when the sausage gets made. I don't know how anyone can be too critical of Beane/McDermott, based only on the results while they've been here. Getting Buffalo to 12-13 wins is, quite honestly, remarkable. How fortunate are we to be whining about 12 win seasons? It means we've had decent play, at a minimum, at every position IMO. To get over the next hill, requires some player management of some of these kids that have brought us to this place. It's hard. It feels unloyal, right? Many of you have read the book, or heard this said before. The most common reason a person, or in this case a team, can't get from "good" to "great" is the fact that you're good. Good is hard to let go of, it's harder to change. But you have to give up good to get to great. I continue to trust Beane & McDermott.
  3. Did anyone else read this multiple times and just smile?
  4. OT is more important than QB2 IMO!
  5. Oh, he's misquoted an awful lot
  6. He appears to be misquoted an awful lot
  7. I thought the SBA administered the PPP program?
  8. Is it not OK to make money?
  9. Unfortunately, we spend a whole lotta effort in building classes, teams, etc., to our peril.
  10. I hope you're right
  11. False, it's still being taught as an elective
  12. You think our govt is right wing?
  13. I think he's answered that, hasn't he. He wants the liberty and the freedom to live his life as he wants, without the govt and govt elites making it harder. Shoot, what was he offered to sign with a label? $8 million? That's the message I'm hearing
  14. Too late for what? Survival? Is that what you're implying? Dang, you are talking about survival
  15. He needs the elite to make his living. Without the elite, he wouldn't have a gig.
  16. The dynamic between the elite and the non elite
  17. I'm not sure it would have been contrary to the law and constitution. In fact I think his decision or action was, or would have been, per the constitution. He made his judgement call on the issue. The right call IMO.
  18. Tucker feeds off of the dynamic.
  19. You think? They're not in my opinion
  20. And yet, here we are with our 2 party system. I think you're comparing the theme of the song to, what, a classical definition of an R? We haven't had that for a very long time, really? Nor have we had a classical definition of a D, or a liberal. The folks that might still be true to these classical definitions are certainly in that party, but they really aren't representative of the overall themes or policies of that party. There is s no such thing as purity, in that sense, any longer. People and the world is much more complicated than that. Personally, I embrace positions in both parties; I think both parties are both wrong on certain issues; and I think both parties are probably both right on certain issues. I believe, more and more everyday, that my most significant issues with our current system is between the DC elite and us common folks. The elite do a whole lot of yelling, kicking and screaming at each other, yet when push comes to shove, they do what keeps us common folks under their collective control.
  21. Like a player trade, putting guys in the correct league?
  22. As it's turned out, definitely O line. However, we saw what a healthy Von Miller could mean to our defense. It's hard to be critical of the decision at the time.
