The government has existing "audit" functions(OIG and GAO). Forever whatever reason they aren't accomplishing anything, really. The federal government hasn't gotten a clean audit in my lifetime. The GAO reports that to the legislature and they do nothing about it. This DOGE is happening the best way it can, but it's happening with transparency, results and accountability. I chose that it continues with greater cuts.
