Most importantly, I appreciate this post and generally agree, on paper. But, I'm a believer of "any given sunday" and therefore I'm rolling with "one game at a time".

Here's the whole thing -
The thing is, you can't simply point to Trump and his failings. You have to bring a better alternative, and the left hasn't done that for over a decade.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but Roger's post game comments about the Jets...gold -
Possibly. I could also argue that a focus might be the safety of those out shopping, dining, etc. Obviously the areas with the heaviest gang on gang crime would have the highest crime. Not diminishing the concern in those areas, but the focus might be to protect the safety of the tourist and high traffic areas.

I've experienced gang activity in the Loop, River North and Old Town, especially late at night.

This is hardly new. How many people did Obama dronestrike? According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, a total of 563 strikes, largely by drones, targeted Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen, killing between 2,581 and 4,013 people, including 384 to 807 civilians. The Council on Foreign Relations reports 542 drone strikes, with an estimated 3,797 total deaths, including 324 civilians. The Obama administration's official figures, released in 2016, claim 473 strikes in non-war zones killed between 2,372 and 2,581 combatants and 64 to 116 civilians, though these numbers are criticized as undercounts by human rights groups.

I have no hypocrisy on the Epstein files. I wanted them released 15 yrs ago. The reasons for not releasing them must be bad, really bad (or is it good, really good?).

Then the Ravens need to do better this year. Quit making stupid choices.

I don't think anyone is suggesting emotional health isn't a thing. Puberty is normal and natural and it's critical that children experience it and learn to cope, largely by coping with, well, puberty. You don't treat mental health with a knife and puberty blockers. Puberty is a natural and most important growth that we all need to experience, learn and grow from. Clinical phycologists are quite clear on this. -
Scott Jennings appreciation thread

The difference between Jennings and most of the rest is one thing. Simply one thing. Common sense.
