  1. He became a franchise QB when the talent was added around him. I knew Josh was special his soph yr at Wyoming. I've seen many QBs in 50yrs in Laramie, and around the mountain west and west coast and have never seen an arm and throws like he made that year.
  2. The kid has to be feeling pretty dang good about getting picked by Buffalo, right?
  3. I have a different perspective and think otherwise. Josh was surrounded by some pretty good talent his soph year in Laramie. He lost most of that talent his junior year, including his offensive line. it was a rough year for him. He missed 2 1/2 games due to injury and then came back and played a great bowl game. He didn't lose an ounce of confidence and character. But it's OK for us to agree to disagree.
  4. I can understand this take and agree with most of it. I think it's unfair to Josh to assume Josh's attitude and confidence would crash like Darnold's has. Character is a huge part of any player and I think Josh has that. It doesn't appear Darnold does.
  5. A good report!
  6. Another Wyoming Cowboy by the way...
  7. 28-24 Billskis If Allen gets 300+ yards and two TDs, he joins Manning and Young as QBs that have started seasons tossing 300 yd games with two TDs. in their first 4 games of a season. I'm feeling the Bills are going to be pounding the rock on Sunday and therefore Allen doesn't get the 300yd game.
  8. No handshakes after the game? Link
  9. The real story around the draft and Josh is, who tossed out the tweets a day or two prior to the draft, suggesting Josh was racist. And how did that impact and influence who drafted him. If at all.
  10. Sunday's game certainly exposed O line weaknesses. Now learn from it, improve and be better tomorrow.
  11. I'm betting it's more of this too. KC is a very good team.
  12. Think their game vs the Steelers goes? I'm not sure what the NFL protocol is in a situation like this.
  13. Josh and the offense will hickup a couple of times this year. You have to expect that. We need our D back to where they were last year. Gotta have 'em.
  14. Jacksonville
  15. There's room. Jump on!
  16. I think Josh should win the mean run of the week, with that face mask call.
  17. Let's not ever do that again
  18. Can't get a pass rush, receivers wide open, WTH
  19. Come on defense we need you right here right now
  20. While our offense certainly needs to produce today, the defense has to be the game changer! They need to get some stops in critical situations.
  21. Based on Allen not doing well enough, Rosen not doing poorly enough. or all of the above?
  22. Two thoughts here. I do agree with you mostly. What I like in your post and believe to be pretty dang important, is the right Josh needs to make a mistake. We need to allow him, and everyone else for that matter, to make mistakes - don't expect them to be perfect. Perfection doesn't happen. Ever. And most of us need to make mistakes to learn from and grow and become better. Second point is that while perfection is the enemy of the good, I think good is the enemy of great (I'm a Jim Collins guy). Josh, or anyone else for that matter, can't get comfortable with good. If he wants to become great, he's got to keep working hard.
  23. At a Wyoming Cowboy bowl game a few years back, there was an event the night before with the boosters and players. I was talking to Josh and getting his autograph. My son, who was a senior in HS at the time disappeared. I found him on the other side of the room talking to Brittany. Brittany was a cheerleader for Fresno State at that time. Smart kid!
