  1. The Bills announced today that security will allow fans to bring their own puke bucket for the Miami game. According to Tom Donahoe: "Hopefully, they won't be needing them, but there is a potential for the stadium to turn into a Vomitorium if the offense doesn't get untracked." The stadium cleaners union originally planned to fight the new policy, but backed off due to a shortage of mops available at the stadium.
  2. I can't believe that we took the time to give this guy sympathy and words of wisdom when all the while his old man is a cop and could fix the ticket for him anyways.
  3. I was thinking the same thing. They go through all of the trouble of keeping it cold all the way and then the distributor, the store, or the bar stacks it up warm until they need it. It's probably worse for the beer to keep it cold, let it get warm, and then cool it again than if they just shipped it warm in the first place. Miller or Bud should do a commercial showing it stacked in a warm warehouse.
  4. A uniform violation for continuing to wearing the same sticker that they had everyone wear for 1 game. It's not like he came up with his own non NFL approved sticker. The league needs some pr work.
  5. The Phins D has played very well even though the offense is a piece of stevestojan. All games are tough when you are winless, but this is going to be tougher than we thought. I better keep a puke bucket close to the couch just in case.
  6. It's not just TD. Modrak was also supposed to be a very good eye of talent. Maybe the NFL draft is becoming more of a crap shoot than it used to be. There have been a lot of 1st rounders who have taken time to develop and there are tons of late rounders throughout the league that have blossomed into players.
  7. Golisano ran for governor against Pataki last time. I can proudly say that I voted for him. Besides rescuing the Sabres he seems like a very down to earth guy and has done a lot for the city of Rochester. But, it is very hard for someone from WNY or Central NY to get elected to statewide office.
  8. I think that he should raise it to 50%. Then we could cover the deficit, bail out the city of Buffalo, and buy all new furniture from his pal.
  9. I'll pray for your big toe if you pray for my hemoroid to go down.
  10. Well, maybe we should just write tickets for people that have a driver's license. If you don't have a driver's license or an insurance card, they should let the people go. When my ancestors came to this country in the early 1900's, nobody stopped them to see if they had a driver's license.
  11. Well Gregg was probably wanting to have Clinton Portis throw a halfback option pass before the defense was ready. By taking a timeout, he figured that it wouldn't work since they would have time to check GW tendencies.
  12. These 3 blown calls cost us the game and possibly the season, and the a$$holes on that officiating crew will be working again this week. What good is it to let us know that they screwed up if nothing is done about it? I think that we should get to stone them for charity this Sunday at the Ralph. Charge a buck a rock or $2 for big ones and give the proceeds to the Bills charity foundation.
  13. I think that she is ugly as stevestojan. I wouldn't even like to watch her with her lover, even though I love lesbian movies.
  14. If you get it, those simpletons on the Oprah show should be able to figure it out too. B)
  15. A few misconceptions: 1. Pontiac provided the cars, not Oprah. 2. Pontiac paid the sales tax and registration, which could be as high as $2240 at an 8% sales tax. The "winners" didn't have to cough up this. 3. The cars are considered prizes and need to be reported on each of their income tax. They do not need to come up with the money until April 15, 2005. Therefore, they could sell the car, buy a lesser car and have the cash available to pay the income tax. 4. This is how all prizes work, whether on Let's make a deal, Survivor, or whatever show. 5. Nice publicity stunt, but too fuggin bad that they have to pay the tax. They still each got an after tax gift of at least $15,000 depending on what they sell the car for. I love the part about some of the people may just forfeit the car instead of paying the taxes. This is like throwing away 15,000 and the people should be sterilized for being this stupid.
  16. I'm glad we are not using JP yet. Behind our current OL, he would be running for his life every play. It does suck that we don't have another option right now but I would hate to toss JP in the fire. What really sucks is that DB is laughing all the way to the bank. We gave him the new contract which basically stapped us for the next 2 years. Unless he somehow comes out of his statuesque funk, this is going to be a horrible year to be a Bills fan.
  17. I have already played the whole game and I thought it was amazing. My graphics card is a Geforce4 Ti4600, which is not anywhere near a top of the line card, and the game played great. It automatically adjust video settings depending on your card and set mine at medium. I'm sure it looks better on a $400 card, but I was still amazed. Definitely a cool game if you like first person shooters!
  18. Well, they have to do something. Regular people can't afford to take the family to a hockey game. It's cheaper to take a family to a Bills game than to a Sabres game if you want decent seats. The other problem is that the hockey game is just one of 41 home games whereas the Bills game is one of 8. It going to take a lot to reign in salaries and cut costs enough to make tickets reasonable since there is very little TV money. I think that this season is definitely gone and next season may be in jeopardy also. From the players standpoint you may get a lot of Europeans going back home for good. I think that both sides have a lot to risk, but they are digging in for a looooong fight.
  19. You're an inspiration to us all and our prayers are with you and your friend for a successful surgery and speedy recovery!
  20. I watched 60 minutes tonight and Dan Rather interviewed the old lady who was the secretary to the supposed writer of the memos. She states that she did not type them, that there are several items in the memo that point to them being bogus but that "similar" memos were written. She is then given time to state her opinions on how she feels about Bush and his service in the National Guard. WTF!! This is really hard for me to digest...A top news agency reports on bogus documents but then says it's ok because there probably were real memos that said something similar. If that is sufficient proof for a story, how can we believe anything that we see reported on CBS!
