  1. Haha you’re one of my favorite members of this board!
  2. There was a picture of his pads and jersey in his locker… pure speculation but it has to be a good sign? There have already been reports of players testing positive for COVID this morning. They started coming out around 8:30AM.
  3. I’d rather take the San Diego State P in RD1 than a RB. No RB in RD1.
  4. What time do they test? 😳
  5. I think you’re missing what he’s saying… @SCBills Correct me if I’m wrong but you’re saying… It wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense for the Bills organization to come to an agreement with Josh on money, length, etc. and then decide not to go through with it because he’s unvaccinated. It would be a huge grievance considering there was and is no vaccine mandate in the NFL. The NFLPA would have a field day. FWIW I’m over the whole vilifying people based on their vaccine status, or hell, in many cases on here… their presumed vaccine status. @Hapless Bills Fanthis is no way directed at you… just the general posting on the board.
  6. What the hell does his age matter? He’s still playing at a high level… arbitrarily citing his age with nothing else as a concern doesn’t make sense.
  7. I need AWS to do this with their catch probability technology… there would be some validity behind that.
  8. Haha fair enough 😂
  9. Guess I shouldn’t pay for insurance… a lot of things could happen, but they also may not. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. How is turnover worthy throws a ridiculous stat? At the same time, how is moves that make sense a ridiculous metric?
  11. Their writers voted on their top executive at the midpoint of the 2021 season. A few highlights from the article: “I voted for Beane because I think the Bills lead the league in MTMS (Moves That Make Sense),” Sheil Kapadia said in explaining his support for Beane. “That doesn’t mean they all work out, but they seem to have a good process.” “The top executive isn’t always the one making the most moves or the highest-profile ones. As the legendary basketball coach John Wooden famously put it, we should not mistake activity for achievement. The best moves can be the ones a wise general manager has the foresight and discipline to avoid making.” They listed the following moves as their rationale for Beane being the top executive: Josh’s extension Re-Signing Milano Keeping key role players - Taron Johnson, Levi Wallace, Daryl Williams Drafting Greg Rousseau Supplementing Diggs w/ Emmanuel Sanders Getting Mitch EDIT : Link is here https://theathletic.com/2922270/2021/11/04/what-makes-bills-gm-brandon-beane-the-nfls-top-executive-at-midseason/?source=user_shared_article
  12. He writes this himself on the board… can’t really “post the link and a few bits”. Great feel.
  13. They gave up one big run… are they not allowed a big play here or there?
  14. If it doesn’t matter until the end of the season, why were you the one to bring up passing TDs now…?
  15. It's almost like people don't want multiple good players on our team. We've longed for years to have multiple offensive weapons, now we do and people want to start shipping them out of town! Diggs isn't a "gamebreaker" Davis is overrated Beasley needs to be cut because we have Diggs and Sanders Sanders is old, slow and taking away targets I am starting the campaign right now...BRING BACK ANDRE HOLMES AND ZAY JONES! #HolmesANDJones
  16. I'd be curious to go back in time and look at playoff teams schedule breakdown in a given season. I'm hypothesizing here... but most playoff teams probably play 5-6 really challenging games in a season (how do we define this, probably teams that finish the season at or above .500?). I would also say that most playoff teams end up anywhere between 3 and 6 losses on average. Which means they're roughly .500 against the challenging teams that they play? I might dig into this because it will probably be illuminating for folks on this board. Essentially my thought is playoff teams go .500 or worse against challenging teams in the regular season and beat up teams they should beat up. That's why 1-2 in our challenging games isn't a big deal at all...
  17. This team is really just a disappointment because they’re not undefeated.
  18. Those evil vaccinated people not wearing masks!! Or wait is it the evil people who aren’t vaccinated at all? Or wait.. who is evil again? Go back to yelling at clouds.
  19. He’s already making them… we’re spoiled by Joshua Patrick Allen.
  20. Jeez. What did Matt Rhule do to you?
  21. I’d cut Brieda in that scenario if we acquired Patterson. Kumerow would become inactive on game days.
  22. Cordarrelle Patterson!
  23. We need a guy like Cordarelle Patterson. He’d be perfect in this offense and he’s really the only guy in the league who has been used this way. He can run the football but can also split out wide and function like another WR - because he is a WR being used as a RB. He’s also an All-Pro return man. You get a ton of value out of him. If we’re just running to keep the other team honest… have your running back be another WR.
  24. Well then, yes. We’re in agreement on that. What key starters does he need to resign… the big contracts he gave out were given to key starters…? He’s already accomplished that. I agree with the point on the trenches. I think the defensive line with built to beat guys like Mahomes and not smash mouth offenses like the Titans. I’m not sure if it’s possible to build a team that can negate both types of offenses in today’s league. I’d still like some nastier guys tho - particularly on offense.
