Meanwhile, other sources are reporting that the Browns are taking Darnold.
So, to recap, the Browns are either taking Mayfield, Darnold, or Allen.
Yep, that's the info we have right now.Which means Rosen at 1.

Josh Allen or Mayfield going to at 1 might be bad news for the Bills. It has been reported often that the only QB to temp the Giants at 2 is Darnold. If the Browns bypass Darnold at 1, we could see QB 1-2-3 in this draft and that would not be good for us.
Suddenly pick 4 is highly valuable.

Weird. You just got done questioning the moral fiber of the guy on Twitter spouting Bills rumors.
Then, for your follow-up act, you decided to spread some rumors of your own.
What gives? And why is it that, the closer the draft gets, the more people suddenly have fool-proof sources?
They don't, but people are crazy for info and people can make stuff up and cause lots of commotion.

Ha ha, did the draft value charts not arrive in Cleveland? If you read Darlington’s interview with Beane he can get in the top 5 without next year’s assets. The Bills aren’t desperate (even though you guys want them to be). 12, 22 and maybe 65 for 4 & 114. That’s the equivalent of the Bills paying a mid 2nd rounder over what the chart says. The Broncos would jump at that offer at 5 (and it would be 96 at that point instead of 65). The Bills will get the same guy at 5 as at 4. The Browns can take Chubb or 12, 22 & 65 (while giving up 114). That’s the decision that they have to make but they have no leverage otherwise. The Cardinals, Dolphins, etc... can’t/won’t match that offer.
Beane said he felt he could. And I'm saying that's what it would take for me to make the trade. It'll all depend on the Giants. They hold the key to trade values.

Rams: #15, #43, #45, #76, Future 1, Future 3 (2670) - 136.04 129% Top 3
No other chart ive seen uses your values.

Doesnt seem so unreasonable to me. Cleveland has so many picks they dont need to break even.
So they don't need more picks, so they trade high picks for more lower picks?

Doesn't make your statement any less wrong.
And actually, the Titans got 3370 to 3089 to St. Louis.

Browns traded for Tyrod, hes their franchise QB.
That might be the dumbest thing I've read, and I liked the trade for Tyrod.

Titans didn't even break even when they traded with the Rams for Goff.
Titans didn't need a franchise QB either.

The guy really is insane. No team at #1 overall does a trade to break even, especially moving down from 1 to 2 and 4 to 12 for 22 and 65.

we should be able to get number 2 for that. take out the 1st next year and it's a fair deal.
No way. 12, 22, and 53 is minimum. I'd take 12, 22, and next year's 1st.

Wrong. A physical would happen after- not before a trade is struck. It would be contingent on him passing
It would involve draft picks for tomorrow. If they "agreed" on a trade, the physical woukd become ASAP. I think the idea of Cleveland trading the #1 pick is complete fantasy, but the physical would happen quickly.

Dorsey's bride doesn't even know.Early speculation..Barkley at one..Chubb at 4. Appears fans want to end the selling off..they want a competitive team now, which is understandable.Per the Drennan show.
No chance a QB doesn't go to Cleveland at 1. Which one is the question. 4 is up in the air.

I think more than the distance and type of passes he threw, Allen was under pressure a lot more than others in this class.

How do you suggest the "help" without doing anything?

The only reason the Giants shouldn't trade out of the #2 spot is if they are picking a QB. The other top players aren't seen as potential Hall of Famers, so the Giants are dumb not to take up to 3 first round picks for a replacement level player.
A lot of people see Barkley as a HoF level player, and that is who the Giants are favored to take.

Often holder of #1 pick will negotiate ahead of time with player they will pick but this leak could cause them to lose leverage and loss of leverage if they are trying to trade #4 pick as well.
The rookie wage scale pretty well sets the contracts ahead of time.

Suspect he got an immediate angry call from his source. The Browns want to play this closely for some reason.
I assume the Browns are trying to cause confusion and try to drive up the price for 4.

Giants will not trade with their cross-town rival. never have.
Dropping 1 spot for an extra pick or 2 would be an easy decision, unless the Giants want a QB.

John Dorsey is regarded as one of the most tight lipped GMs in the NFL. Nothing out there is known for fact. People are just speculating and hoping it sticks.

It’s fine. You believe your link, I’ll believe mine. And even IF yours is closer to the truth, what a loser Jackson is for “settling” for a 2nd year qb who threw 28 tds to 7 ints for the highest scoring team in the nfl. What an idiot!!!
Browns RG3 was nowhere near Redskins rookie RG3. He had been figured out long before that.

To be fair, it's reported that Hue has multiple media outlets that he leaks info to (which is the whole basis of the tweet in the first post), so it could just be a case of hindsight correction.
I assume Peter King is one of them - the others, harder to guess maybe? At the end of the day, I would take everything (even my own opening post) with a grain of salt. But still, fun to speculate!
Yeah, leading up to the draft it was reported over and over th at Jackson loved Goff but wasn't sold on Wentz. When St. Louis traded up for Goff, Cleveland traded down.
Mike Silver is good buddies with Jackson too and it's rumored Jackson leaks stuff to him and others a lot.

As the clock ticks on Thursday night, the Giants pick gets less and less valuable.
5 premium draft picks for Barkley.
3 1st round picks, and probably a 2nd and 3rd as well, or a great RB prospect. That's the question.
The pick gets more valuable as time goes. Once the Giants are on the clock, there are 10 minutes to hammer out a deal. Either teams overpay, or the Giants take Barkley like they want. I'd trade, but they aren't really pressured to, yet Buffalo has made it clear they are all on a QB. Time will tell whether they overpay or not.

Hue also wanted to draft Wentz and Watson. Funny that the offensive coach wanted to get a qb.
No, Hue DIDN'T want them. He wanted Goff. That's one of the strikes against him, even though Goff was gone. He didn't want either of the other 2.

Browns HQ is in Berea, west end of Cleveland, but Quicken Loans Arena, First Energy Stadium, and Progressive Field are all within walking distance of that airport.
