  1. Look like the trophy is OK ... https://www.instagram.com/p/CLIEWjYg-Lf/ No apology needed and doesn't every member of the team get a replica of the Lombardi ? Good thing her father didn't craft the Stanley Cup.
  2. Not sure how the Steelers would even restructure Ben's contract again unless they resign him past 2021 and he's owed a $15 million roster bonus in March. Wouldn't be surprised to see him retire or have the Steelers release him. The Steelers could then either go after Darnold or let Rudolph / Haskins fight it out.
  3. Not to make light of what happened to Ariel, but the collateral damage from this will extend to Britt Reid's own family and also Andy's. I doubt if found guilty of any charges related to alcohol that he will ever be employable by the Chiefs or any other team in the NFL. He already has a felony conviction which would make it tough to get any job, let alone a football job. I would find it hard to believe that Britt's wife was not aware of his drinking but she obviously can't watch him while he's at the Chiefs' facility or anywhere else outside the home. Financially this could ruin him and his family and I suspect Andy would move them out of KC as his kids are approaching school age and would face the eventual taunting and harassment by classmates over their father. If he goes to prison, I'm sure Andy will pick up their family expenses wherever they end up but a civil suit could run into the millions. Lots at stake for all families involved but let's pray that Ariel recovers and has a normal life.
  4. And another twist to the story - https://fox4kc.com/news/missouri-department-of-revenue-assisting-in-britt-reid-crash-investigation/ Not sure what impact this would have on a case against Reid.
  5. Back in the day, lots of folks thought the same about Dan Marino. Times change - coaches, injuries, personnel, etc.
  6. Agreed - Gronk's not going anywhere - by all accounts, he's really close to his mom and she's in Fort Myers. Wouldn't be surprised to see him take less $ to stay in Tampa and FL has no state tax.
  7. She's available to help you guys with your fitness - https://brittanylynnefitness.com
  8. A little harsh since she's been with him since high school ...
  9. At the Allston Sports Depot just outside of Boston initially with about 50 Bills fans. All left at halftime except for 5-6 including myself. One of my best Bills days ever.
  10. Don't know why but I'm reminded of Patrick Reed's wife Justine when I see these two.
  11. You can get one if you want ... https://www.qbproducer.com
  12. A little update ... https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30869395/kansas-city-chiefs-assistant-coach-britt-reid-put-administrative-leave-amid-crash-probe
  13. Great story about Jackie Stewart although not what I expected at the end. Fact is everyone on the planet has their demons and some are just better equipped to keep them in the closets than others.
  14. If you believe the stories written while Reid was in Philly, sounds like Andy and his wife did everything humanly possible to help both the son that died and also Britt. Some kids are hell bent on self-destruction for whatever reason and there's nothing a parent can do to stop it ... especially when they get older. One of the quotes from Garrett, the son that overdosed, was that he really enjoyed being a drug dealer in the Philly hoods and having everyone know who he was. You're right in that Andy was probably away a lot and the kids had a lot of time and $ on their hands and quite possibly that contributed to the mess we see now.
  15. Sincerely doubt they will release Andy Reid due to an accident caused by his son. No doubt his son will be relieved of his duties. Also, the police will wait until the investigation is complete and then charge Reid if warranted. They won't wait until they see if the girl recovers as it could be months.
  16. DUIs are not always felonies otherwise there would be a boatload of people that would be disqualified from a lot of jobs. Simple case search here tells me his DUI was a misdemeanor. https://ujsportal.pacourts.us/CaseSearch
  17. I share your concerns about the oversight, but I believe his drug conviction was a misdemeanor and the gun charge was a felony. Since they happened back in 2007 or so, he might have been on probation for awhile that eventually ended. Drug testing is certainly possible and may even be in Reid's contract, but how do you test someone for alcohol abuse ?
  18. He has been to rehab multiple times and apparently been clean since his arrests in PA. Clean meaning no substance abuse convictions or DUIs. How would Andy Reid or the organization go about monitoring his son ? Addicts are very good are hiding their addictions.
  19. The Toronto Argonauts, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Saskatchewan Rough Riders ... who's the 4th ?
  20. Unfortunately, don't drink and drive is not a black or white answer for a lot of people and I throw no stones as I did it many times in my youth.
  21. I doubt the Reids are cool with Britt Reid drinking as they are Mormons. Britt is 35 now and should be able to function in society without his parents watching his every move. I suspect he was hiding his drinking from Andy and the rest of the family.
  22. Couldn't this also mean that Pennsylvania has reciprocity with Missouri and his previous DUI convictions show up in the system ?
