  1. It kinda makes it better that, if true Elam was our guy, that KC in fact, did not "jump us." But jeez, what a scouting fail if Elam was their guy all along.
  2. Agreed. I am guessing if they trade up it's probably for Golden. IMO, if they stay put, they are taking a corner.
  3. This is probably his last year with the Bills, unless he stays healthy and is the same player he has been when healthy a warrants a mini extension. I hope he's a Bills lifer. They have Williams and are scouting off ball backers this year.
  4. I like Harmon a lot. It seems there is zero chance he makes it to 30
  5. I just don't think any of those guys make it to our pick in the second round, maybe Morrison because of the injury. Perhaps we may have to make a small trade up for one. Last year, the first corner did not go until pick 22, and then 6 more corners went through pick 42. So from 22-42, you had 7 corners selected. 3 more went towards the end of the second round. So 10 in the first 64 picks. I think we could see something similar. Hunter, Johnson Barron early, then the next group somewhere between 25-45 all go. So you could trade down from 30 or try to trade up from 56. But I think it's unlikely those three guys make it down to 56 (aside from Morrison with the injury. Hunter, Johnson, and Barron feel like first round locks. Then it's Revel, Hairston, Amos then probably Morrison and then Thomas and Porter. So that's 9, and then I think there is a dropoff to the next tier of guys. Waiting until 56 is playing with fire IMO, especially because McDermott likes a very specific type of corner. His preferences on length etc probably elimates a few of those guys, making it even more difficult to wait until round 2. But we shall see what happens
  6. Feels like Hairston or Amos to me if they stay put and go corner. Or Morrison…I know he has a hip injury, dude has a ton of pro traits.
  7. This is all awful. But it’s likely someone winds up with a little bit of a steal if it goes right. Its won’t be the Bills. On top of the legal stuff…Bond seems to have a bunch of other flaws in his game that it’s just not worth it
  8. Shaken not stirred!
  9. I like Harmon also, he seems a great fit for what we do. I saw some expert compare him to DaQuan Jones somewhere, which plays.
  10. That was a super exciting turn of events with the big trade. Its about to get a little boring and conventional, but… With the 11th pick of the 2025 TBD Mock Draft 2.0, the San Francisco 49ers select Kelvin Banks Jr., offensive tackle from Texas. Banks is big, long, (TBD after dark amirite?) and athletic and he has played at a very high level for three years against high level competition. RAS is in line for what a Shannahan OL looks like. He just turned 21, so youth is on his side. The 49ers have a million needs, but in this case, need and BPA kind of matched up. Banks could play any position on the offensive line and eventually replace Trent Williams who turns 37 this summer and has missed a ton of time due to injuries. I wouldn’t normally choose a guy who won’t play LT right away this high, but it matches up perfectly in this case and I think he will be playing LT sooner than later. There is very little risk here, unless you think he is a guard as some experts do. I think he’s a LT but at worst he’s probably an all pro anywhere else. The Cowgirls and @Might Rather are now on the clock.
  11. They probably legitimately like him. They are probably also fishing for info on Nolen and Amos. He's fun
  12. Yeah adding Jeanty is a brilliant way to support the young QB so he can develop. A superstar RB on a rookie deal and an ascending QB on a rookie deal. You can wear Jeanty out and continue to spend on the rest of the roster. Good stuff.
  13. Draft people are all over the place on Walker. He looks like Leonard Floyd to me. Seems like the ultimate boom or bust, but if he hits, he's going to be really good. On the Cleveland thing, I could actually see them giving Kenny Pickett a real shot. He should be ok in Stefanski's system. I think Stefanski wants a grinder, I think he is over the superstar commercial guys. Sanders is an interesting prospect, but with his dad and such he brings a lot with him. 2022 is when the Browns made the egregious trade for Watson, and they probably would have drafted Pickett in the first round if they did not make that move. Pickett has the potential to become the next Geno Smith/Sam Darnold type reclamation project.
  14. I like this one; it's a little different from what a lot of mocks are thinking. Get one of the best players in the draft here. Nice work.
  15. I took them on as a second team but you can have em! @Virgil
  16. Definitely a fair and accurate point
  17. Ill take the Eagles too or whomever really
  18. I’ll be the bad guy and say I’m not a TJ Watt guy. Just like his brother he crushes stats becuase he freelances on defense. It results in impressive numbers but part of the reason the team never wins anything becuase he doesn’t play within the system. Just what I see when I watch him. JJ was way worse with his gap integrity. Anyway not a fan and he isn’t getting moved anyways.
  19. Lionel Gates and Shawn Bryson would like a word.
  20. well said! 🍻
  21. Yeah it's weird. He was out there awhile last year too, but I think it was an injury situation. He just had a good year despite tearing his rotator cuff and still starting 16 games.
  22. They also signed Cam Bynum. I think they have moved on. I'd be very happy with Blackmon.
  23. 49ers Falcons Saints @Virgil trade down an option as well?
  24. Chad Rueter's 5 round Bills draft haul: Texas WR Matthew Golden edge Nic Scourton from Texas A&M DT Joshua Farmer of Florida State CB Cobee Bryant from Kansas safety Jaylen Reed of Penn State Guard Jackson Slater Sacramento State LB Shaun Dolac out of Buffalo He has us trading up to 27 for Golden.
