Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most?
Billsfanatic8989 replied to henry jones's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great. I actually hate the GM. He has gotten the better of Beane in trades. He also fixes issues rather quickly. I think we have at least one SB win with Veach as GM. This. Patriots fans were this way. Bulls fans in the 90's. Lakers fans. -

When we say "dislike" I assume we mean as rival players/coaches and not humans? -

I don't despise nor wish harm on them personally. So hate them as humans? No. I hate them because they are rivals and always beat us when it matters most. If any of these guys (Mahomes, Kelce, Jones) were on our team, we would worship them and laugh at others hating them. The most annoying people don't even play on the team. Mahomes brother & wife plus Swift. The person I hated as a human was Hill. But he's gone. -
What is your vibe going into KC?
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Epic upset. What lol? Buffalo has issues. But I don't think beating KC at home would even qualify as an upset. This is a 50/50 game. I think the one seed is important because the Bills get a bye for the first time under McDermott. If someone were to upset a superior team in the postseason, the Bills could potentially get an easier playoff opponent at home. And the Bills have won two postseason games under McDermott a few times. But it's always been WC and second round. Doing so this time=a SB trip. Yep. I wouldn't be stunned if the Bills get amped up and play the best game of the season and win. -
Game week thread - Chiefs at Bills
Billsfanatic8989 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
See Chiefs vs Bills regular season games in 2021, 2023-2024. And what happened later on. Bills beat them in 2022 too. Because of that, this Sunday's result won't have much meaning long-term. At least not for me. We've been through this too many times. -

KC doesn't face Pittsburgh I'd be stunned if the first bolded happened. Like beyond stunned. Bills and Chiefs will win the division imo. -

I don't believe the Chiefs would have made the SB 5/6 years with the Steelers, Colts, Chargers, Steelers, Jets (2009-2012), and Ravens (Lewis, Reed, OL, etc) in the conference. The AFC was much better back then. In otherwords, the Patriots faced much better teams/HC's. Tougher road. That's not to take away what the Chiefs have accomplished. You till need to beat teams in front of you. -
Game week thread - Chiefs at Bills

The last four years have shown that the results of these regular season games mean absolutely nothing. Because of that, I can't see this as being anything more than a week 9 AFC game. Nothing more. -

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

Maye will be a Trevor Lawrence type QB in the future. Jmo. Not top ten. Top fifteen maybe. Will need alot of support to win a SB. -
Did we already miss the window with Josh
Billsfanatic8989 replied to BritishBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
That last offensive drive was doomed from the start. You could see how concerned they were with milking the clock. I believe that also messed with Allen's rhythm. Point being, KC was going to score a TD on the next drive anyway. Everyone knew it. The offense was forced to not score too fast. You could see it with the play calls. -
Allen is the most important player on the team. And best player. It would be impossible for a team to trade for him. Cook is the second most important player. This team would not sniff the postseason this year without him.

This. All the Patriots had to do was not turn it over. And worst case scenario the game goes into OT. Being able to score when you absolutely need to is a different beast. -

Vrabel is a good coach. 10x better than McDermott? Not sure I'd go that far. McDermott has missed the postseason once in eight years. And has been to two AFC title games. -

They aren’t a mess like they were last season. The coaching has improved. Defense looks better. I need to see more. Wins against the Bills (again) and Bucs, would make me a believer. Maye's physical tools and talent is undeniable. He looks the part. Time will tell on whether he can be clutch and not flinch in the face of adversity. -
Are we still afraid of the Bengals?

Offensively? Yeah I'm scared. They can put up 40 on just about anyone. Defensively? They are atrocious. -

Ed Oliver bicep injury - likely out regular season
Billsfanatic8989 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not. Every defensive draft pick is either: 1) Healthy and bad 2) Bad and injured 3) Good but injured alot The best ability is availability. I don't care how good a guy is if he can't stay on the field. -
