  1. Imo Mcbean’s tenure absolutely depends on finding a Qb that can score more points and sustain more drives(field position). -we try for already seasoned Qb like Cousins or Keenum. These are more long term answers that would tie up a lot of cash and cap. Especially Cousins! Alex Smith or even Eli Manning would be a short term bridge to developing a young Qb. Im much more in support of these options rather than drafting a Qb and starting him day one. I’m not saying if a good prospect falls to us that we shouldn’t take him , just not burn a lot of picks to do it!! Use the picks to upgrade the right side of the o-line, linebacker and d-line. I think we should bring in a deep threat wr to help spread the defense more. Drafting a fast ,downhill, one cut rb to compliment Shady would help. Imo we get a Qb that can make this team better immediately rather than going all in on a rookie. We drafted Jim Kelly without moving up to the top five to get him. When he finally suited up as a Bill(after USFL)he was a much more seasoned Qb and immediately made his presence felt!!
  2. Whaley’s biggest mistake imo is giving Dareus a franchise player contract. I used to be a Whaley supporter but not anymore. Talent is important. Attitude is more important! M
  3. Improbable indeed! I felt good about the Bills chances of beating the fish ,but not about one of the other scenarios happening. I’m still a little shocked. They are going to have to play at a high level for 4 quarters to advance, but that’s the playoffs!, i like the “kid”from Oklahoma too. Also reminds me of Jimbo. I like his accuracy and he’s big on 3rd down. Use the draft picks on linemen. Bringing back Freddie would be awesome. I just might drive to Jacksonville for that!,
  4. Ok Gronk does this mean that you are now justified for assaulting White?? More glad than ever you’re not a Bill!
  5. It remains to be seen about Mcd ‘s greatness, but his style is to be methodically prepared, highly motivated and stress the fundamentals. This team got better as the season went by. They committed few turnovers and lessened the number of stupid penalties. IMO he is far from Jauron(“well we punted well”)
  6. You are right on point here Shaw. With a better Qb and passing game it makes the whole team better. It would be much more difficult to key on Shady and make the offense one dimensional. Belichick of course knows this and simply used it to their’ advantage. Mcdermott has this team preparing and playing hard. Fundamentals and execution are better too and imo they have improved as the season progressed. Haven’t seen that in a while! Merry Christmas!
  7. IMO I have always wanted an offense to go for the jugular and put the game out of reach. But Shaw brings up a good point about taking time off the clock and the risks and rewards of running the ball. Teams that have an experienced Qb like the Pats, Steelers, Packers, etc imo have a much better chance of running their normal offense including passes. If they don’t get points out of a drive they at least can sustain enough of a drive to waste some clock and keep the advantage in field position. Not a 3 and out! Taylor doesn’t have the experience at this nor does he have the accuracy to consistently put a pass where only the receiver will catch it. He also is prone to taking a sack instead of getting rid of the ball. I will say in his defense that he doesn’t try to force many passes. Not sure if he is just overly cautious or lacks confidence in his accuracy.
