  1. If the Bills don't go RB in the first 3 rounds, there's a couple of guys under the radar that might fit the bill. Kylin Hill has been mentioned. Here's another one: Deon Jackson, 5' 11", 218lbs, 4.32 40. Ok production at Duke for a guy that shared the load. Upside of the that is not a lot of wear and tear. Seems to have good hands and is dynamic on wheel and go routes. One cut runner gets up field quick and is an effective short yardage back.
  2. Also missing Alim McNeil. He's rated as an early Day 2 pick and might be the best pass rusher in the draft out of the 1-Tech DT position. He could kill 2 birds with 1 stone by improving the pass rush and run D.
  3. Man, I thought I was bad at keeping my social media up to date.
  4. I really like him, and think he has the speed to cover TE's and get after the QB. Dare I even say hybrid LB/ Big Nickel.
  5. I remember this shot of the sidelines towards the end of the loss to KC in the regular season. Brian Winters was sort of crying, and Bates looked pissed. Something told me about the way he was carrying himself that he was ready to play and wanted a chance to prove himself.
  6. I'm saying 16/17 of the 63 listed on the current roster are practice squad players... But as far as draft strategy, I think there's room to draft solid contributors / game changers at CB2, DE, RB, WR, TE, 1Tech, BIG NICKEL & SAM. That's 8 positions we could upgrade, and we could always use another stud on the Oline. I'm not saying we will hit on that many ballers, but there's a better chance of hitting when you trade back and have 9 picks vs. trading up and having 5 picks. But I hear what you're saying about trading up twice to land 2 legitimate starters.
  7. 16 - 17 of those guys are practice squad level players.
  8. Are you sure about that? I think when you subtract the practice squad guys, there are 9 open roster spots currently.
  9. Addison is old. Obada is just getting his feet wet, and saw less than 40% of the snaps last year. Also, getting Star back and potentially adding a big boy 1 tech in the draft as well as a second shut down corner may improve the pass rush all together.
  10. We must be England's official team.
  11. Jerry Hughes was in the league for 3 years and only had 5 total sacks before coming here and posting 10 his first year year. Obada has the similar, if not better kind of raw athleticism.
  12. Athletic FREAK: Wingspan: 83” (or 6’11”) – This was the same as Jadeveon Clowney recorded at the 2014 NFL Combine. In the 2015 draft class, Randy Gregory had the largest wingspan of pure edge rushers in this class, with 81.9”. Among tight ends, Clive Walford had the biggest wingspan, at 81.5”. Arm Length: 35.6” – It’s actually hard to compare Obada’s length to anyone. Danielle Hunter had the longest arms amongst edge rushers in this class, with 34.3” arms. Clive Walford’s 34” arms were the longest among tight ends. The longest arms of anyone at the 2015 NFL Combine were Florida’s 355lb offensive lineman, Trenton Brown (36”). 40 yard dash: 4.63s – At the 2015 NFL Combine, this would have been good for second among tight ends, and sixth among defensive linemen. 10 yard split: 1.53s – This is the truly astonishing statistic. Obada’s 10 yard split time (which is far more important for defensive linemen than the 40 yard dash) cannot be compared amongst defensive linemen or tight ends, because it’s so much better than his counterparts. In fact, only six prospects at the 2015 NFL Combine ran a faster 10 yard split than Obada (five wide receivers, and one defensive back). Broad Jump: 121” – Would have been good for joint-first amongst tight ends at the 2015 Combine, and in the top-10 for defensive linemen.
  13. I really hope Beane tries to convince Justin Houston to come onboard for a Super Bowl run. I think he is a leader that elevates the players around him. He told Josh he's a hell of a good player immediately following the the playoff game, which just goes to show his character. https://youtu.be/4LfGiHXfsbw?t=34
  14. Im not sure what I'm going to have for breakfast tomorrow. Fire Beane!
  15. That's nuts, the fastest Tyreek Hill has ever been clocked at is 22.8 mph. And he didn't have the ball in his hands.
  16. Racism and misogyny go hand in hand. But is sex addiction he cause of violence? Or was it an act of vengeance against the women he blamed for tempting him? Either way, he did not see those women as human beings. If what he says is true, his desire to be pure was more important than their lives. And the choice to murder these women was clearly rooted in a deep hatred of them. Was it only because of their race? No. It's not mutually exclusive. Was he choice to frequent Asian massage parlors to satisfy his sexual cravings racist in and of itself? No. But was punishing these women with death deeply racist and mysoganynist because he didn't like the fact that he acted out on sexual urges he didn't like? I'm going to go with yes.
  17. I think it might be even more important for this offense to add a true receiving threat out of the backfield then a deep threat. We both noted a number of plays this season where Josh had open recievers in the flats. I'd almost say most defenses just gave those routes to us. But he either didn't trust, or wasn't interested in using those passes as a weapon. If we add a back like Gainwell who can destroy teams catching the ball out of the backfield, we may force teams to defend the flats which just opens up the 10-20, 20-40 range passes. We should add a deep threat too, and preferably a wr who can double as a returner. But I think I'm higher on Gainwell at this point than Ettienne to become Josh's deadly weapon out of the backfield.
  18. The reverse is true too. If we have 2 lockdown CB's, that can only help the pass rush. Did we have any coverage sacks last year?
  19. I think there's a good chance he has vast improvement in his production. Smoke, Bease and Diggs have all had career years after playing with Allen. I don't see why the same can't be true for Hollister if they give him the opportunity to catch the ball.
  20. Tommy Sweeny is back, and I think they like Nate Becker.
  21. I have Illinois, the Fighting Illini.
  22. He's quickly atoning for his sins... But I still think he's choking back a sense of revulsion when he took that bite! Lol
  23. He doesn't have true break away top speed, but he seems like he accelerates to his top speed much faster that our current guys. He seems like a true threat in the passing game too. He might be a steal if he makes it to the 5th.
