  1. Probably wasn't worth the time in the past, especially if you're not familiar with filing deductions. But now that they're issuing 1099's it is worth the time, imo.
  2. I guess the question is whether to do it on a Schedule C or D? My primary purpose of buying season tickets were to resell (most) of them. So I'm going to file C.
  3. That's exactly what I'm saying. Ed is saying what you paid doesn't matter it's all taxable income and you can't subtract what you paid. I disagree.
  4. This is the 1000th and 1 reason I've seen Chiefs fans give this week why the Bills will lose. I think you guys are scared and it's showing. Nobody knows what's going to happen, it could go either way. But the anxiety of Chiefs fans coming up with all these reasons to psych themselevs up into believing they're going to win is hilarious.
  5. Do you run your own business? Have you ever filed a Schedule C?
  6. Don't do that.
  7. And why do you think that? There's no filing requirement to run a small business. It's a business if you say it is.
  8. Mooch and Kurt Warner were just comparing Mahomes and Allen. Mooch says of Josh, "he doesn't throw side armed or no look passes but..." as they show a highlight of Josh throwing a side armed no look TD. Do they even watch games?
  9. Buy and selling tickets aren't the same thing. No one is selling 2008 game tickets. If you buy them and sell them and make a profit you should owe taxes. If you buy them and sell them and lose money there's no income to pay taxes on.
  10. I see how that could get complicated if you're selling lots of things per year. Still do that have to pay taxes on items you sell for less than you bought it for. https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/service-and-payments/2022-changes-to-ebay-and-your-1099-k.html#m22_tb_a1__4
  11. Idk man, it's pretty easy to look at your Invoice on how much you paid. It's literally given to you by Ticketmaster or Stubhub. For season Tix it a single purchase. Subtract the 1099 amount and you have profit or loss.
  12. I feel the same way... Except Burrow is so damn good, that's my one reservation.
  13. That's what I'm saying. Could end up reducing your taxes overall.
  14. What about Treylon Burks? He may shoot up the draft boards if his 40 is anywhere near advertised. But right now I see him listed in the late 20's. Seems like a DK Metcalf type wr with greater fluidity.
  15. You don't need to file any paperwork to run a business. You have your purchase order, and your sale order. If the sale is higher than the purchase you made profit. If it's less you had a loss.
  16. What's to stop people from declaring a loss and paying less overall tax? Why not treat it as a side business and reduce your taxes due the the loss?
  17. Feeling so old. Not one Simpsons or Family Guy answer.
  18. She misspoke, obviously meant incompletions.
  19. Imminently... Imminently... Liked hearing Sean though. He's locked in.
  20. Tuned in excited about the Bills game. Instead got a full dose of feeling like we're all going to die.
  21. I hear that, I wouldn't be surprised if the thousands of Chief hate bots patrolling the interwebs were bandwagon fans who only became Chiefs trolls after they won the Super Bowl.
  22. From what I've seen, KC fans are trying their hardest to surpass New England fans in their level of arrogance and pettiness.
  23. I do believe that have broken up crews for the playoffs, so each head ref has different crew members than he had for the regular season. So the analytics of who calls what so often may not hold up.
  24. And because we couldn't run the ball, and because all of our wr's we're injured. Also, we didn't put McKenzie in at wr much. We he got a shot he scored a TD. He's the one wr that can run away from "sticky" coverage and punish the D for it.
  25. Now that's planning ahead!
