Name some good outside cornerbacks with sub 30 inch arms.

Last thing, you're on the record claiming that Trent McDuffie can't play outside cb in the league bc his arms are .25 inches under 30"? What if we chip in and get him gloves that have quarter inch finger tips? -

Apology accepted. You haven't provided a metric to measure success that can be applied to the data set other than a few screen shots of blurry pics I can't read on my phone. And just bc you can't pick names off the list and intuitively know if they had a good career or not doesn't mean your analysis is accurate. It may be, but it's incomplete. I also offered additional statistical analysis tools to determine co-occuring conditions to rule out application of your short armed rule. But you ignored that too. In any event, I'm taking about one specifc player. And you're claiming that the metric that is going to allow, for instance, Dane Jackson to play outside corner successfully and prevent Trent McDuffie is 5/8ths of an inch. Ignoring that McDuffie's 4.44 speed makes up over 9 inches per second over Dane Jackson' 4.57 40... Let's check back on this around this time next year and see if Trent McDuffie was unable to play in the league, or had to be switched to slot. -

It's another way of saying you're missing the forrest for the trees. Here's what you need to do. You need to determine a valid metric of NFL success and apply it to each 10th percentile of arm length in order to see if there's a statistically significant correlation between arm length and success. But then there's always outliers, i.e. the individual tree in the forrest. How many 11th percentile arm length CB's are over 5' 11"? What percentile height is Trent McDuffie among the 11th percentile arm length? What percentile speed? What percentile RAS? You're fixated on one specific metric to the exclusion of all other variables. Kind of like those who only focused on Josh Allen's completion percentage at WY to the exclusion of his actual play on the field. -

Your claim is that being in the 11th percentile for arm length is predicative of future success of a specifc player? Stop bringing reality to the table! I have a hypothesis to test: there's a strong correlation between posters who care that Trent McDuffie's arms are .25" under 30" and posters who thought Rosen was the right Josh. -

I'm just saying I can't find a database that aggregates arm length and player performance. Going by how many names guys on a message board can name isn't how math works... And even if only 2 players with arms less than 30" at outside cb have been good, it has nothing to do with McDuffie's career prospects. Correlation does not imply causation. -

You're confident your deep research algorithm has proved your hypothesis? Unrelated question, were you a Josh Rosen is the right Josh guy? -
He did go 7-9 once... And then win 3 other games in his entire career... And we mortgaged our 2005 1st round pick.

Kyle Brandt will announce Bills 3rd round pick

For sure, I think it's more accurate to say he was an early believer / fan of Josh and Bills mafia before most national commentators were forced to eat crow. -
That's exactly what I said. The move up to get Losman in 04' cost us our 1st round pick in 05' (pick 20) when Rodgers slid all the way to pick 24. Little known fact, 2005 was the last year the Bills would pick as late as 20th in the draft until 2020, when we traded our 1st round pick for Stefan Diggs.
-
That's all true. He wasn't the worst bust in terms of being the worst player, but in my opinion his failure had the biggest impact on cementing the legacy and culture of draught years.
-
JP Losman, especially considering it cost us the next year's 1st round pick while Aaron Rodgers was still available.
-
Would you still like JA if he was on another team?
Motorin' replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The few that I know are still in denial. Every time I mention Josh they're like, "he's wasn't very highly rated coming out of college... Total diamond in the rough there... Nobody saw that coming..." And ever time I mention Josh to them, I'm thinking about the draft commentary saying the Browns were going back and forth between Josh and Baker. -
Von Miller is Being Sued (UPDATE: CASE DISMISSED)
Motorin' replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, you should expect it may happen. But in the world of media, consent to distribute one's image requires a signed legal consent form that spells out the terms of the agreement. Without a signed agreement, expect to be sued. And, if the distribution is intended to harass and damage the person's reputation, expect criminal charges. -
