    I think the idea is that the Broncos defense is still very good and the core of their team. Wade is gone and Vance Joseph was his protege. So the defense can continue the same with Joseph, and they will have to bring in a new guy just to fix the offense.

    I don't mind McCoy as OC but everything depends on a QB. If they go away from TT and don't get a Brees or Rivers, this offense is likely to suck. The running game will suffer and we will waste the two years Shady has left. If somehow they pull a rabbit out of their hat and get a QB I will be in favor. But right now I think we will be under .500 and waste a lot of talent.

    This is where I am at. I'm not a big fan of this. Not a big fan of moving on from TT if that is true. McCoy has a good track record but not a guy I'm excited about. I'm usually optimistic but this is very uninspiring to me. I will back them and root for them.

    I was high on him, took him on my fantasy team as a rookie. Got burnt. Thought I was an idiot. Then he plays great. Now I really look like an idiot after not going near him. Note to self: Be careful with rookies in fantasy, even if you know they will be very good.

    When Young was a senior he was a remarkably accurate passer. His problem was his wind up throwing motion. You can't do that in the pros. So everyone tried to change it and he sucked. Watson has a pro motion and will be a much better pro thrower. But in college, at least as a senior, Young was a great passer too.

    It's like a style or archetype more than a direct experience. He's like a disciplinarian but will take a buck stops here and do not throw a superior officer under a bus. His father may have been a military guy.

    A lot of times I think we blame QBs for high throws when the receivers slow a little like that.

    He's a military type. I very much doubt he pulls a power play. Schwartz situation was way different with Rex being an opinionated defensive guy.

    Oh I know that. But with him being the front runner for the job here, or close to it, you know the franchise likes him. It's not going to be another offensive minded guy if not Lynn. Unless Richard or McDermott have some rabbit under their hat, it would be dumb to start over.

    He's under contract. I suppose he could walk away but that's not a good look. I know guys like Schwartz are allowed to walk (when Rex was hired) but that was a defensive guy taking over.

    I guess the fourth down punt in enemy territory wasn't such a bad idea. Hurts has been awful. Even if that could have been caught.

    The Schwartz call was a no brainer. I don't give him much credit for that. Any coach would have made that call and Schwartz knew he had that DL.
