  1. Liability Josh, we will be running the ball now.
  2. I don't disagree with what your saying in fact in supports how I feel. Dabs got Josh rocking and went off to fix Daniel Jones and failed. Dorsey picked up the reigns and people were crowning him before he flamed out. Although lets be honest even if Dorsey was decent he still would fail with the Browns they are a clown shoe. Dorsey is the ex girl that makes your new girl look even better. The odds are if two previous OCs went on to fail then...
  3. I am sure people felt that way about Daboll as well, yet they plugged Dorsey in and on with the show. Then they fired him over a few bad games on just installed the next guy. If the Bills lose in the playoffs due to any offensive struggles I doubt people will say the same about replacing the HC with the OC with much confidence. Brady got Cook and the run game going and that has been a real delight to see compliment the pass game that under Allen has always been pretty legit and Daboll gets credit for that in my book. Funny to me people would make that leap so soon with the OC when Josh Allen is capable of making every OC we had look good. Not saying he isn't qualified to be HC or the Bills HC but Im not sure Id fire a coach that has had us in the playoffs every year for a guy that is successfully running an offense with a superstar QB.
  4. I really always liked McDermott for a few reasons. The first reason being was when he first took over fights were breaking out in camp and thats the sign of people working hard. The next reason is that he broke the drought and i dont care what anyone says about that... it was a real curse and he cleaned house. The other reason is that this team is always in the Playoffs and that can lead to Super Bowls. I never understood the fire McDermott stuff. Its status quo and the team is on another run. The dude just oozes playoff culture. You could say that they missed a window and made a bad moves but it just doesn't land as heavy when the Bills are still a part of the picture and relevant still. If i think about some of the things i read here before the season and how its playing out is two different realities. My classic line was if you fired McDermott today he would be hired the next day somewhere as a HC.
  5. I think Josh needs to take hits to get him going.
  6. The Jets situation is a bust. I left my thoughts a few times but honest it's a perfect ending. Looking at them trot out there and struggle to compete with the Patriots and actually lose was perfect. Its best anyway. They could of fielded a bridge QB and been the same record.
  7. The Jets losing to the Patriots would be so sweet.
  8. Rogers looking over like "i didn't authorize a time out"
  9. McDermott the drought breaker stole Hamlin away from god resurrecting him the dead so maybe he sees something in him. All praise the clappity one for when you hear the clap you might wake from the dead.
  10. We gonna mismanage time and lose by a field goal.
  11. I am not down on the season. Josh gives a lot of elite performances. I can easily write this game off. Its early in the season of the next mini rebuild so I understand the struggles. I just wanted to throw my hot take into the pile of trash because for this week the narrative in my head is that Diggs left the team and was rodeo roping with those ice cold dedicated eyes while Josh is off target starting to lose his mind and the end of the first half.
  12. Well I wanted to over emphasize and exaggerate my point for a bit of fun. I still think they lost that game because of Josh Allen though. They could of managed the end to win they had opportunities but its in the fourth and they let to many possessions pass them by and now your playing for over time. They couldn't even get into over time. Wouldn't have to worry about McDermott managing the end game stupid in the end if the team did more than play defense because the opportunities to win were there with some points.
  13. I think what really promted me to post this was two particular parts of the game on TV. The first was Diggs doing his rodeo dance after getting yards. The second is when Josh was walking off to the sidelines looking at McDermott all wild eyed. I had to tip my hat to Diggs because i feel like this loss has a lot to do with Josh.
  14. To me it looked like he was running full speed reaching way out and on tv the ball bounced off his finger tips. That was not a bucket. I would of let slide but Joshes first half passing kind of speaks for itself.
  15. Context matters. If i was seriously trying to push the idea and get into circular arguments I could see them moderating me. I never post my own threads. Its not really over the top to say Josh has a lot of MVP with some liability to cost a game sprinkled in. I can understand now why Diggs wanted to bail after that half.
  16. Tom Brady straight up left his wife for football. Josh needs to emulate the goat.
  17. Its a gut feeling I had after todays game. Im not even complaining. I love Josh Allen and think you can win a SB with him but today in my mind was on him.
  18. I don't know if it is that extreme of a take. Diggs leaves the team and Josh went out there for while looking like he is on a mission to justify Diggs choice to bail. Josh is obviously top notch in the game, just thinking out loud that maybe behind the scenes not being serious enough all the time to be prepping and thats the reason everything looks sloppy.
  19. I'll start by saying I understand the obligatory statement that I think Josh Allen is one of the greatest QBs of all time. When Josh Allen is at his best it looks like he looks like a football machine sent from the future At his worst it looks like Zack Wilson bust levels looking lost. After some seasons it seems clear to me now that this team will rise and fall to the level that Josh Allen does. The two losses remind me of what playoff losses have looked like for us. Ravens smashed the Bills like the Bengals did. Texans did today what KC has usually does to us and sneaks by because the offense is figured out. The only difference is that today is that now I believe I can see what Diggs might of been hinting at. I love Josh but maybe he isn't all that serious and just leans on accolades and not going full cyborg all the time.
  20. I think the Bills will be fine and stay competitive and today's game wasn't out of reach. I trust McDermotts abilities to maintain a defense. I even feel like guys are over playing thier talent level shooting past people. I defense feels like its taken a step back but being covered up nicely. I feel different about the offense. Its been lights out and then figured out. Its strong but it has weaknesses. I don't think we need a new HC, we just need one of the best OCs in the league. I love Josh Allen but he can go from MVP to liability and its a weaknesses. Its like i see the same patterns that rise up. The current OC might not be that guy. Im not writing him off just yet but soon. McDermott better already be on the phone looking.
  21. I'm not on board but I am not defending him anymore.
  22. Allen plays a better in the first half and they would of won the game.
  23. Hes due, think he was trying at the end there.
  24. Josh missed a few big plays today so far.
  25. I read through this thread and to a degree could agree that Beane made mistakes. McDermott made mistakes. Josh makes some head scratching mistakes. Everyone tries to improve over time. If the product on the field produces playoff runs a season has potential for a SB run. When that happens I don't see it as a failure ultimately. I like my odds better if they are contenders and they have been. Ive seen this team play like a super bowl team several times throughout these past seasons. They also have odd games sprinkled in where some or all things dont click at all.
