I was saying 2025. They have no choice next year but keep him.
-
IF Watson's play remains poor, they have no choice but to blow up the team in 2025 and tank hard. Post June cut helps them spread the cap hit over 2 years with a restructure and cap carry over. I will watch to see if they trade off assets in 2024 and the start of 2025. If they start (trading/letting walk) their stars, then it's a real possibility. If they wait until 2027, they could lose their entire fanbase and the players, the team could be ruined. I mean what other choice do they have? Make him want to retire?
-
What is looking even worse is they doubled down and restructured every penny they could of his 2023 salary this year. The Browns have pushed out Miles Garrett's cap hits so much already that he is costing $35M next year. They've done the same with Amari Cooper. The Browns are already $48M over the cap to start next season and will probably have no choice but to restructure Watson again. LOL. They pushed in all their chips and IOUs in this Watson debacle. That's true but his salary is vet minimum because of the stupid restructure as I mentioned above. Browns are over-the-barrel with him.

Watson's 3 remaining years have cap hits of $64M every year plus $9M in a void year. Choke is a mild description of how xxxxxx they are. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/deshaun-watson-21753/

Josh Allen - Highest Completion % in NFL through 2 Weeks
ColoradoBills replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ah, this reminds me of the good old days when we had to track Josh's completion % to confirm he was the "right" Josh. Good times. -
I agree. It's more of a consolidation thing. If he is indeed a FA as they say, then it does limit that original 10 year deal. It freed up a couple of million but the Chiefs were right at the cap so I don't expect they will do a lot with that.

I will watch how the TEs were used when I rewatch the game. Good to hear he is part of that process instead of purely slot.
-
Kincaid can block? Seriously, having TEs who chip, of fake a chip or even stay in the entire play to block just gives the D more variables to contend with. TEs are becoming a huge wildcard for offenses. I will say I seen a number of great run blocks by Spencer today, both setting an edge and 10 yards down the field. I'm giving the guys his props for a good day. Hope he repeats next Sunday.

OMG!

Damn, my TV feed must be way behind.

The $64 question is, does Tua have another pick in him?
-
BB, without Brady, is not GOAT, he's just a Billy goat.
-
Not a pick 6 but it will work.
-
Come on Tua, throw a pick 6.

She sure can pull off the "girl next door" look when she wants to.
-
She didn't dress to put attention on herself. She let the boyfriend have his moment. I think that's pretty cool.

Bills having 10-minute scoring drives would help a lot. Keep them on the sidelines.
-
LOL but that is true. You get in his face.

Handing off from under center gives the RB some movement toward the LOS v shotgun hand offs. I seldom use the word hate, but I come close when they consistently do the delayed shotgun hand off.

Dude, first off, why are you thinking I'm singling you out? Second, I have a 90 year old mother who just was in the ER for the exact same thing. It's a hard thing to deal with. Third, if you want me to feel bad about the Bills winning and want to caution my enthusiasm, it's not going to work. I will not apologize for being a fan of this team, happy they won and not having to read dozens of doomsday threads. I hope you mom recovers well.

Detriment to the team.
