  1. No, Ralph didn't do any of those things. But as the owner, he makes all the really key organizational decisions. And he hasn't made good ones for some time or is perhaps no longer capable of doing so. Plus it's his money that's being spent. If you think Wilson's no longer consulted on such things as who should be coach or GM, you're mistaken, no matter what Brandon is supposedly tapped to do. It's pretty much that simple.
  2. Sell the team already Ralph (to local interests). You're not doing yourself or anyone else any good, and your kids don't want it. And you're NOT going to win the Bowl. Give it up already and be a big hero in the community. If this sounds like a desperate plea, it is.
  3. You sound like an evangelist. Even snake oil may not work for the Bills.
  4. Once Byrd departs, we have a major rebuild job in the secondary. Even with Byrd, it's quite subpar.
  5. Gilmore has become a major concern. Another "brilliant" high draft pick.
  6. Paranoid? The Bills on the field and the front office off of it do more than enough to make us perpetual losers.
  7. Get another linebacker who closely resembles Kiko next year, please.
  8. He has other fundamental problems as well, such as not seeing the field, looking for secondary receivers, and being a very passive "leader."
  9. Archie Matsos laid some wood as well. And Cookie broke some. My worst memories were Dangerous Dan McGrew's regular hikes over the punter's head.
  10. The Bills have shown that it's not so much where you draft but what you draft.
  11. Strange thread. A fan is a fan or he/she is not one. Any "fan" who adjusts based on the wind isn't one.
  12. Boy do we need another linebacker like Kiko. Gilmore looked hopelessly lost much too much.
  13. Obviously EJ could turn out to be another Losman.
  14. Amen on the intangible thing. You're dreaming if you think it's there. But you have to start EJ the rest of the way. You'll never know if there's any chance of improvement if you don't. You want to have a better feel by the time yjr draft roles around. The thing that worries me is that even if EJ remains terrible, the Bills may attempt to validate their high pick by not drafting another quarterback because doing so would suggest they made a mistake.
  15. It's not overreaction when you see a quarterback, no matter how experienced, unable to accurately throw three yard passes, make no attempt to look off receivers, throw into quadruple coverage, which he once did, almost never use his supposed "great" arm (except perhaps on the pass that was picked off), and in no way show the presence of a leader. Look at tapes of Peyton Manning his first year and you'll see what I mean. Yes, perhaps PM's an exception but it's not clear EJ should have been a high first round pick in any case.
  16. If the Bills have guts and draft a QB next year, and not attempt to cover up a mistake by not drafting one, things could change. For I dare say that EJ will never amount to much. Yes he's still young, but I don't see any intangible pluses about him. He's actually less accurate than Fitz was, though with a better arm. Speaking of EJ's arm, if three yard throws are all you're going to throw, you don't need an arm. And many others would be more accurate at that distance. Oh yes, EJ did attempt to go down field once before garbage time and was picked off. I wouldn't bet on this horse.
  17. How about their coach giving the Redskins two timeouts with under a minute to go. Brilliant!
  18. The details of this whole sorry mess remain incognito.
  19. Lay off of poor Richie. He's no longer incognito and has finally come out. Everyone now knows what a worthless "human being" he is, and that's probably being nice. Don't believe for one moment the Miami organization didn't know what was going on. It was too blatant. The Miami Ostriches anyone, or Penn State?
  20. He's supposedly a cancer on and off the field. Would you want to have that? And by the way, he thinks a block is something little kids play with.
