  1. That’s fair, and for many players I’m sure that’s correct. For me, money would only go so far. If the dollars are close like you’ve said, with what I have to put my body through to get ready to play and then actually play the games, I’d want to know I’ve got a decent shot to win something or at least get to the playoffs. It really was a genuine question. I’m not saying it in a snarky way like the Bills have historically been some model organization. For many years they’ve been right there in a similar boat as the Jets. I’m praying the Bills have finally turned a corner organizationally.
  2. Lol. I’m with you on the phony jersey teams. You’re correct and I wasn’t clear. Make no mistake, I understand the draw and allure of NYC. It’s a cool place to visit. Always something to do. Personally, I’d never want to live there (or anywhere near there), but I know that people do. My contention is that the Jets are a disaster and have been for some time now, so is the proximity to NYC enough to outweigh that? If I’m a ball player, I say no. With as much time as this sport requires, it’s a long miserable season if you aren’t winning. I want to go somewhere I have a chance to win. I don’t correlate winning with the jets (Bills are still fighting that stigma too). As a fan, I realize these players have outside interests, but selfishly I want my guys eating, drinking, sleeping ball all the time.
  3. Poor Ruggs. Everyone hyped his 40 so much for days now. So much so that people are disappointed with a 4.28 and a 4.31. ? I’ll take that on the Bills all day!
  4. Lol. I think he’ll be a pretty good receiver in the league. Jack of all trades, master of none. But...like others have said, is that worth a first rounder? I don’t know. If he’s Deebo part 2 I’d love that. Like Deebo, I’d feel more comfortable with him in the second. Glad they don’t pay me to screw this up. ?
  5. Yeah disappointed with his time. He’s put together though. Built up pretty good. Bigger upper body with room to grow.
  6. Previous regimes...yes. But I really trust Beane and his staff.
  7. Still don’t understand why anyone would want to play for Gase or the Jets dumpster fire of an organization. Is the NYC proximity really that big of a deal?
  8. He definitely is. Now go look at Tremaine’s combine measurements. Guess that would make him a super-freak (nod to you Rick James lovers out there).
  9. I read this article earlier and like others came away underwhelmed. I don’t mind the first round pick because it helps the offense, but I don’t know about prioritizing DB over WR in second. Get Josh weapons. That’s all this offseason should be about. I’d love to get Gandy-Golden though. Guy has all the measurables and a ton of potential. Also, I get we have our own to re-sign and that won’t be cheap, but come on with those free agents. Beane said as much, so I’m not expecting the moon, but stop apologizing and excuse making about having $80M in cap room. Help Josh!
  10. Allen’s not perfect. We know this. But that is pure click-bait crap. Highest level of trolling. Sadly, it works. Just look at his replies.
  11. Love love love the transparency on replay reviews. They have to bring this to the NFL. Wonder if they realize this will actually help the game. First of all it’ll hold Riveron and the rest of the of booth review officials accountable. Second, we’ll get to see how they went about the call. Even if it doesn’t go your way, you can at least understand how they got there. Lastly, Pat McAfee was made for the XFL.
  12. Massive. And tied to % of the cap. Cap goes up, so does his pay on a % basis. Guy deserves every penny.
  13. Hope I get to see the Bills get one in my lifetime. Can’t even imagine that feeling.
  14. Can only hold down all those offensive weapons for so long.
  15. Jason Momoa commercial still the one to beat.
  16. Awful call. Regardless of whatever the rule book says on extended arm.
  17. His evil twin still has hooks in the organization. Where there’s a Bill, there’s a Brandon.
  18. Yeah I suppose that could be a possible explanation. Moulds last productive year would’ve been 2005, which would’ve put Sammy around 12. Man how I miss a guy like Moulds. I remember watching him thinking that I better enjoy it because he won’t be around playing forever. Too bad he didn’t get to play with Jimbo his entire career. Prob be a HOF’er.
  19. Ughhhh. Yet another story about a former Bill who is blessed to be gone. Good lord. I hated trading Sammy at the time, and even more so after seeing the offensive “talent” they replaced him with, but enough already. Who is asking these questions? Side note - so much for the Bills being his favorite team. I always thought that was a little phony anyway. I mean come on, the Bills must’ve been terrible when he was growing up. Where’s the appeal? The color scheme? Those unis were also awful in the early 2000s. Always just felt a little forced like saying something he felt like he had to say. I’m skeptical.
  20. That’s a shame. <insert Seinfeld gif here>.
  21. Moulds said he ran a 4.50. At roughly the same size. Rarely had a problem. I know every situation is different, but I’m not that worried about a 4.5 guy. By comparison, Zay Jones ran a 4.45, and I felt like he struggled separating sometimes. More to it than just straight line speed.
