Great example and thank you for sharing! I completely agree. Losing is an infectious disease and the Bills were at it so long they absolutely needed a complete cleansing. Top to bottom, they’d accepted it. Sure, they’d try to shake things up and clean house over the years when they knew they had no choice, but it was always the wrong guy. The sad part for all of us having to live through it is with every change in head coach/GM it brought hope that they’d finally get it right, while consistently being let down and disappointed. I’ve been a Bills fan forever and I’d always hoped they’d luck into a guy like McD during the later Ralph years. A guy that could truly save the franchise and turn things around. Ralph wasn’t a bad guy, but he was complicit (or cheap as we like to call it ?). He got burned a few times over the years to the point he’d only feel comfortable with certain people. Combined with his penchant for being a little too hands on, that limited the pool. Took new owners a little longer than we all would’ve liked, but it seems we finally got the right guys in charge. Of course there is always more work to do, but I haven’t fully trusted a regime like this since Polian and Marv. That’s too damn long for us to wait for a little competence. Even when I’m frustrated on game day, I just try to enjoy the ride remembering where we used to be.

I agree. I don’t think they knew either. I’m not as big of a Whaley hater as some others (not good as a GM, but a decent talent evaluator), but that whole regime didn’t exactly set the bar very high. Knowing what we now know about McD, and coming off Rex, I can see how his messaging and “the process” would’ve been very refreshing to the Pegulas. To your point, with his approach, it didn’t take long for him to build credibility in the building and oust the others.

The Russ, Whaley, and Monos parts are so cringey now after knowing what happened. Especially Whaley and Monos. They didn’t look like they knew they were on the way out. Sucking up to McD pretty good there.

Love it! While he’s got some improvements to make (who doesn’t), best coach we’ve had since Wade and it’s not close.

Not a fan as the backup center spot is a little tenuous right now with Feliciano out. I won’t question Beane too much in this department as he deserves the benefit of the doubt. However, surely, Ike Boettger would’ve been a better candidate for release, right? I mean, is the guy ever going to actually play?

Just watched the Josh Allen clip of his ranking. Probably already been said, but could they have picked a more nondescript collection of players to speak to Josh’s game? Nsekhe (biased) and Blake Cashman (Rookie)? Enlightening. Closest we got to anything interesting was the passing comment Myles Garrett made. ?♂️

Aka - White fragility. Lord knows I’ve tried on here several times. Same old lazy takes about how racism doesn’t exist. -
Raheem Mostert requests trade
Blank Stare replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe it’s just me, but does this guy remind anyone else of a slightly shiftier TD Mike Gillislee? I don’t know what it is, but every time I watch Mostert, my mind goes to TD Mike. -

Totally get it. I noticed you’d mentioned you are Jewish in a few of your previous posts, and while we’ve had our differences in previous threads, I’m sorry you’ve had to endure things like this in the past. Will it get the same coverage as BLM? If I’m being honest, probably not. Is that right? Like I said in my previous post - absolutely not. I’m not excusing the comments or the media’s behavior. It’s unacceptable and DJAX deserves all the criticism that is coming his way. -

Truly reprehensible and indefensible. Deserving of similar outrage and criticism that Drew Brees and Jake Fromm received. No disputing that. However, anyone looking to use this as an example to discredit BLM or legit racial inequalities for POC really need to get a grip. I know it’s hip to choose sides these days, but it’s not an either-or scenario. These comments, as well as those systemic and institutional injustices, are both wrong and unacceptable. -
David Njoku requests trade - any interest?
Blank Stare replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Njoku and Knox would be something. I’d love it for the right price and I’m sure Josh would too. -
I understand your point here, but I’m not certain we ever left Round 1. NYC, yes. But I see a lot of folks talking about the “second wave” in the fall, but I’m not certain much of the country has experienced or cleared the “first wave”. If things keep on the current trend, this season will look completely different, if not cancelled altogether (to your point).

Result - voting for Josh Allen top 10 plays
Blank Stare replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good list! His best play that never was, was the Charles Clay drop in the end zone to win the game against the Dolphins. Little better throw would have helped, but the dude was gassed. Clay still should have caught it. -
Very disturbing.

I believe you started with the name calling cupcake. Typical deflector response. I’d expect nothing less coming from you based on how enlightened your posting has been. “My whittle tummy hurts when people start to challenge my dated beliefs.” I’d bet you’re not nearly as tough as you think you are when you’re out from behind that keyboard. Toolbag.

Well aren’t you just so much smarter than the rest of us? Isn’t that cute. No one on here is trying to tell you how to think. Judging by some of your lovely comments on here, that ship has long since sailed. Ever stop to think your comments or mannerisms around those people don’t foster an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their experiences with you? You saying it doesn’t exist, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist to them. But you’ve never had to think about those things, so why start now right? But you came in here pounding your chest like a Neanderthal, intentionally trying to antagonize people with how much better you think you are than the rest of us. You sure showed us.

Agreed dude. I try to share that link with anyone I can. It’s wild stuff. I think regardless of which side of the fence you’re on with this issue, no one considers themselves a sucker. But that’s exactly what we’ve all been. Duped. It’s no wonder this issue touches a nerve with so many. Years and years (and years) of conditioning. That’s why it’s SO important we continue to educate ourselves on things like this.
