I actually don’t think there is a price. Not for 10 years.
The price would be so steep that the Bears wouldn’t be able to put a team around him.
-
I would need their 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks for the next 5 Drafts to even consider it.

You don’t eat $30M in dead cap just to sign another receiver for $25M/yr.

Troy Franklin and Javon Bullard would not be a bad reality for Buffalo. I could live with that. Take Luke McCaffrey RD4 and double down on receiver and we’re golden.

I suspect he'll win the poll because everyone knows safety is a need. I just personally have no interest in drafting a safety anywhere in the top 75 picks. It's too easy to find good players at that position later in the draft. Especially in McDermott's defense we don't need studs at the position, just smart players that can learn the defense and stick to their zones.
I went with Michael Hall Jr.. Perfect player to back up Oliver at that 3T spot and we can pair him up with Ed inside on passing downs. I think we can find depth at safety and OL in RD 4-5.

I added in a few of them. I don't want to list more than 3 per position. I added those with 2nd round grades via CBS or ESPN
I'm going Javon Bullard, S, Georgia here. ESPN's highest rated safety, BPA and position of need. Win win
No worries, you had a great list initially just thought I’d add some food for thought.

Is Michael Hall Jr available? The DT from OSU?
Calen Bullock, S, USC
Patrick Paul, OT, Houston
Braelon Allen, RB, Wisconsin
Cole Bishop, S, Utah

I know that us Bills fans love football, but how do you begin to measure us against other fanbases collectively?

Fun idea of the day: THREE 2nd Round WR’s
Trade down from 28 with WSH or CAR.
Both have multiple 2nds.
Include our 4th this year & the 2nd from Diggs
Would be quite the camp battle at the position.
Legette & Franklin I’d want for sure
The other could be McConkey, Pearsall, Wilson, Tez Walker, etc
The way I see this WR class or at least the top 3 tiers
Tier 1
Marvin Harrison Jr
Malik Nabers
Rome Odunze
(Buffalo would have to package up two 1st and two 2nds in a blockbuster trade.)
Tier 2
Brian Thomas Jr
Xavier Legette
(BTJ we would have to trade up for by maybe 10-15 picks. Legette should still be there at 28.)
NOTICEABLE DROP OFF AT TALENT HERE.
Tier 3
Xavier Worthy
Troy Franklin
Ja’Lynn Polk
Jermaine Burton
Javon Baker
Ricky Pearsall
(These are the guys I like, feel free to add your own.)
If it were me, I would see three viable options
1.) Wow somebody away in the top 15-20 picks for Brian Thomas Jr.. maybe a 2024 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th and a 2025 3rd.
2.) Stay put and hope that Xavier Legette is there.
3.) Trade down/stay put and double dip and draft two “good” WRs in the third tier. Yes we would lack a true #1 but we would have multiple good options/weapons for Josh Alllen.

As far as targets go, Cover 1 has a video on this very topic tonight at 7PM on YouTube, make sure you guys check them out, they do a great job over there!

I had high hopes for Kaiir, but he has not shown a darn thing in this league. He may still be developed, but I doubt he’s shown enough to get much of anything in terms of a move up in the first round.
Me too. I wonder if we could get a 3rd for him.

I am with you in a little move up. But I hope he makes sure he picks the RIGHT WR.
Oh, absolutely. Especially if we could get BTJ for 28 and maybe our 4th and 5th and maybe our 3rd next year, I’d feel a lot better about it if the compensation is right. Ideally we hang onto all three of our 2nds.

-
If you’re Beane, please just take your guy at 28. Don’t get cute. I don’t care if it’s BTJ or Legette, reach 10-15 spots if you have to, this Draft is too good not to.

Favorite Combos
BTJ & Xavier Legette
BTJ & Troy Franklin
Xavier Legette & Xavier Worthy
who we’ll take: Coleman & Polk 🤣😪I love Legette if we stay put. Kid has crazy upside as a true #1 WR. He almost reminds me of Eric Moulds a bit, if not a lot…..
Also, I would be pumped if we somehow landed BTJ. Especially if we could hang onto our 2nd round picks and maybe give up a 3rd next year along with some mid round picks… That’s where I’m at now going into the draft. I want BTJ or Legette. Preferably BTJ depending on compensation!

Marino was talking about this on his show today. I love him, great guy, but I could not disagree more. He says we may not go WR in RD1 and he was making a case that we don’t go WR until RD 2-4.
You have my word, if we take Cooper DeJean or some other position that is not WR I will lose it.

I think #28, next years 2nd and this years 4th would get it done.
