  1. Missing a 52 yarder is forgiveable. Missing a 34 yarder not so much. Haushka's misses (either of them) was the nail in the coffin.
  2. Getting the ball run down your throat is less intimidating that team fumbles and immediately gets scored on.
  3. While I completely agree with what you are saying here I still think Cleveland is less scary then a team like Philly which has good coaches but injuries. I think Cleveland has a better chance of continuing to make dumb mistakes and giving us a better chance. Mayfield seems to be having a tougher time this year but we still have to watch out for Chubb.
  4. Every close game the Pats win it's always the same thing that gives them the edge. They do not make the dumb mistakes and all the other teams do. The Ravens gift wrapped most of the Pats points and so did we earlier this season.
  5. Haven't read every post but I have to give Daboll an A. Hands down. He's not perfect but we have a running game. We have a passing game. We consistently have plays that work. We consistently move the ball. We make in game adjustments and you can see in game improvements (big for me). There are plays and sometimes parts of games that don't work but that happens to anyone. The reason we are not scoring more points at the moment are inconsistent QB play (to be expected with a second year QB) and turnovers. Both of these things should continue to improve over the course of the season. There is nothing worse than an OC who has a bad game plan and can't make adjustments after it's obvious nothing is working. Might be my favorite thing about him overall.
  6. 1)Allen doesn't take the sack. 2)Allen doesn't take the sack 3) Allen throws the ball more accurately on interception #2 (Jones was actually open) and it's a TD. 4)Someone recognizes the extra man in to rush the punt and puts a blocker on them. I thought I was watching a rerun most of the Pats/Giants game.
  7. We stop them from scoring on special teams and we are 6 and 0 and we basically are the Pats.
  8. A) Slayton needs to get that. B) Holy crap the Pats get to grab and pull at the WR's anywhere up and down the field. I'm cool with letting them play or calling it close but you have to do it both ways.
  9. They have an incredible D and Maybe ............. or Maybe they have 2 less interceptions and have been sacked 5 more times with 2 more fumbles. I agree Jones is being a rookie and BB is playing that but Eli is pretty limited. Like Bledsoe in the Cowboy years.
  10. Seriously I can't crap on any of the Giants coaching tonight. Pats D is playing well, given that their DB's are allowed to be very physical, there's no place for Jones to go. Being a rookie he's forcing the ball at times. We are all familiar with that. Still the offense is moving the ball and the D is stopping them. Again with the Pats it's the mistakes that kill you.
  11. Slayton needed to fight back to that ball harder. NE DB's getting handsy = no call. Giants DB's get handsy = penalty.
  12. You are right ............ read one of your replies wrong. My bad. I like Daboll and what he was doing with the offense. That said even with Allen's mistakes I wouldn't have told him to stop firing away. Pat's will make young QB's throw into bad places.
  13. You mean like Josh Gordon? Pats haven't thrown to traditional WR's in years. Everything is rub plays and crossing routes or Gronk. This year is going to be much different for them.
  14. The Bill's O that had 3 picks, 2 fumbles, and a blocked kick? I mean we moved the ball a little better but mistakes vs the Pats always equals the same result.
