  1. With his verticle he probably can make up for the 1/2 an inch difference any way.
  2. Really ................. that's awesome. Liking this kid more already
  3. Combine has him at 183. Nevermind I just learned something.
  4. As long as the guy can cover. I wish he was 10 pounds heavier but if he stops QB's from throwing to his side of the field and can bring a rb down I don't care.
  5. Is 31 long? Amos, Revel, Porter, and Thomas all have longer arms. I keep reading the long arms thing and it's in articles written when he was still 6'1" and 186 pounds (pre combine).
  6. Write up on espn. The Bills were rumored to be all-in on this cornerback group, and they get a player at that position who posted the combine's fastest 40 time (4.28 seconds). Hairston best projects to a slot cornerback role, but the team has a legitimate starter there in Taron Johnson. He does have the quickness and long speed to run with outside receivers, so he could stick on the outside in Buffalo's man coverage heavy scheme. His elite speed is a major asset there. -- Miller Why would they say he projects as a slot corner? Man coverage heavy scheme .......... someone is high?
  7. First two picks last year Mitchell and DeJean both 6ft and 195/200 pounds. I don't care if he's a track star or not. As long as Hairston can cover.
  8. His size scares me but White went in to the combine 6ft tall and came out 5'11" also. Put a few pounds on the kid and maybe we're on to something.
  9. Not going to lie .......... not my favorite but hopefully Beane knows what he's doing.
  10. lets see how many pages we can make just while the pick is coming in ......
  11. Waited all night for this ..............
  12. Amos or trade back 2 or 3 spots and try to get Amos or Revel.
  13. Even if they take one I could see Revel, Morrison, and Amos all being a pick for us. Some less likely than others but I could see any of those 3.
  14. That pretty much seals it ............. CB it is.
  15. Tyleik ? Lots of guys left worth picking. Feeling good about pick 30 not being disappointing.
  16. It would be awesome if the Giants take Sanders.
  17. After Philly retooled their secondary. You need both. Mahommes had no where to throw and the pass rush got there. He had the ball out as soon as it hit his hands vs us because we can't cover.
  18. With an exception for Aaron Williams. I kind of have a soft spot for Ricky Williams also.
  19. Chicken or the egg. Mahommes had the ball out in under 2.5 seconds because we had no coverage. Pass rush was never going to get there. Can't cover your pass rush makes much less of a difference. Oliver had something like 11 pressures vs Detroit. We gave up 40 something points. I'm not against pass rush but honestly it won't help if we can't cover.
  20. Someone was telling me you don't use an early pick on the same resource two years in a row ........ but I think that only counts if it's a safety.
  21. Mike Evans ran right around the same time. Palmer is not Evans but my point is that a 40 yard time is not the be all end all.
  22. If Golden hadn't run a 4.29 none of this talk would be happening.
  23. With his size you think he's "future" Evans.
  24. Agreed .......... even with that Bishop didn't show he's a good coverage guy and if you have Rapp and Hamlin doing anything other than zone you are in trouble. Starks would fix that. We have a bunch of CB's also. We signed Dane and Tre ............ would still love to draft a CB.
  25. With a starting secondary of Benford, White (currently), Johnson, Hamlin, and Rapp if you asked where we could upgrade pass coverage the most it would be Hamlin or Rapp and Starks would do it. Starks is certainly on the list of picks I would be happy with.
