  1. Explored this a while back. We actually were one of the league leaders in explosive plays this year even without "a burner". A player like AJ Brown keeps safeties in a 2 deep shell not because he's going to outrun anyone but because his release package can stack a CB and because his deep route running gets him open on posts and sail routes. These are all things that Palmer or Coleman (as he learns the route running) can do.
  2. Coleman was doing as well as any other rookie at the mid point of the season. He got hurt and the second half of the season didn't go as well. He puts together a full season that's even just par with last season and he'll put up numbers better than PIckens did last year.
  3. I was a big Horton fan and thought he could have added something to the WR room. I also thought Zay Jones was going to make a difference.
  4. Tell me who the "monster wr" was that we passed up in the draft?
  5. Bucs signed the 400 lb kid and Lan Larison I guess is signing with the Pats
  6. I have no idea how he'd make our roster but it would be fun to see him in camp maybe a preseason game.
  7. Not going to act like I watched the game but he had 100 yards with a TD rushing and 100 recieving and completed a pass and averaged 5 ypc vs Montana State. The biggest bonus is his size and pass catching.
  8. Not necessarily sure he's on the Bills radar but a UDFA guy who could help a team would be Lan Larison. His 40 time aside he ran for almost 1,500 yards, had 850 yards recieving, and scored 23 TD's. Threw some passes, made a few tackles, what else could you ask for?
  9. They took a swing on Cooper last year. There might still be something up their sleeves.
  10. Wease (?) at WR, what's up with Zy Alexander at CB
  11. Yet here we are scoring 30 something points a game. It would be like Cleveland complaining about drafting offense because they need to put better players around Garrett.
  12. I certainly wanted a WR in this draft but I'm not going to act like a rookie in the 3rd or 4th is the difference between us scoring 20ppg or 30.
  13. I wasn't an Ivey fan but he was projected pretty early. Pretty sure he wasn't even drafted. Still trying to figure out Alexander also. Either way I like the group of guys we drafted.
  14. I wanted a safety that actually had CB experience. I'm not sure this was exactly what I had in mind but I don't hate the try. We have a group of safeties that are cover 2, run and tackle type safeties. None of them are coverage guys like Hyde used to be.
  15. So you are saying he worked harder last year than previous years?
  16. We don't recognize the 1 tech position as a real thing.
  17. By all accounts Sanders should be a great pick. Walker seems like coaching would make the biggest difference for him. Who has more upside Sanders or Walker? Touche ................ you got me there.
  18. Tell me what Benfords 40 time is and then explain how a 4.56 means he can't play corner.
  19. Zy Alexander have a medical flag? Surprised he's still available.
  20. Obviously never take just one source for the the absolute truth but here's one write up. For a seventh round pick I'll take it. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Kaden-Prather-WR-WestVirginia
  21. Second half of the draft Beane is pulling gems out of the rough left and right. Prather has great size and most of the ingredients to be a decent WR.
  22. This late I'd still take Wease or Prather at WR. Like that they drafted some DB's we had Benford, White, Hairston, Johnson and a bunch of nothing special.
  23. Yes you need to draft pass rushers but you sure as hell need coverage guys. Hancock and especially Strong could have been drafted much earlier as DB's. Both should be able to help in a variety of ways. You want to rush the passer you have to keep the pass from coming out early. This is a defensive over haul and I love it.
