  1. This isn't the NFL of 10 or even 5 years ago. With the cap space of all teams continuing to rise, players will ask for more money. It's not surprising. Baseball and basketball players get paid a lot more. Football is a much more physical sport and a bigger business, players should get more. Every position will be paid more money. I don't think we overpaid at all, especially considering the best at the position gets paid 135 million over 6 years with 87 million guaranteed. Star is getting paid less than half of that. He's a space eater, nothing more. Hard to be a player that's job doesn't show up in the stats column in the biggest statistical era ever.
  2. Why can't they? We have plenty of cap and draft picks to play. Robert Foster was an UDFA. We have shown we are willing to trade picks for players. I think you'll see a lot of new faces all over the map on offense. I honestly think players will want to play with Allen because of his potential.
  3. I think they could look into moving him to the outside but he's a young player with a lot of talent who did look better with Milano next to him. I can't express how young he is enough. He'd be a young junior in college this year. He's not there yet physically. Although he's a specimen, he doesn't know how to use his body just yet. Certainly something that can be taught but we are at a point right now where you certainly could move him to another position. He's such a raw player. He was always a project when we drafted him. He will indeed take a few years to develop. He reminds me a bit of Clowney. Big specimen who were just learning how to use their physicality. They didn't have to much in college because they were just better athletes than anyone else. The mental game was also a bit behind for him because he relied on his athleticism which you can't get away with in the NFL.
  4. I'm not so sure we get rid of him just yet. His salary is high sure but it's not like we are close to the cap. If we fix the problems to our line next year I'd still like to see him play lightening to a rookie running back's thunder. If he is a problem in the locker room or says I'm done, then you move on. He's a potential hall of famer and these young guys can learn a thing or two from him. That being said, his legal situation is upsetting and could be the ultimate reason he gets let go.
  5. He'd be a junior in college right now. That's young and against Belicheck who is known to go after rookies. Not surprised he had a bad day.
  6. Hey, there's another reasonable fan who knows what this season was all about.
  7. It's been less than a year. He's had very good games and poor ones as well, that's what rookies do. He doesn't have Milano to help him (which is a massive loss for this defense) and the defensive line hasn't faired well today. He's played plenty of good games this year.
  8. Overreaction, don't know how to cope, marital issues, hate their job...the list goes on really.
  9. Why is it that every rookie is expected to make huge plays every game right away? This isn't what has happened for the majority of good players in this league. They take time to develop.
  10. Yeah, he's had less than a year and his running mate is injured. Chill man. He's one of the youngest players in the league
  11. We have a ton of young players out there and our best defender is hurt along with others. Allen is a rookie with little help. Were we expected to win this game or something? What am I missing?
  12. Like I said, he's 20. He is a few months removed from being a teenager and he's out there playing with grown men. Struggles are expected. He doesn't have Milano next to him either which surely makes a difference.
  13. I think he's proving to be a nice complementary receiver and not the main guy.
  14. It doesn't increase the pressure at all. I'd rather our guys talk about it and make sure they are on the same page. Especially with so many young guys everywhere.
  15. It's a learning situation for a bunch of young players. If they want to talk about it, why not. Who cares, it's about the development not holding onto our timeouts
  16. You say that as if the only way to cope is to bash the whole team and complain on a message board haha.
  17. It's not a Buffalo Bills board without someone overreacting to take out their frustrations. No other reasonable coping methods are allowed
