  1. The ref literally started to reach for his flag then decided against it
  2. Say we don't beat them. Wouldn't it be better for the Jets to have another L?
  3. Does anyone find it crazy how hard the Jets are trying to convince everyone (including themselves) that Mike White is the answer? He has damn near 40 pass attempts through the 3rd quarter. Ridiculous
  4. Same here unfortunately. Vikings need a big, momentum changing play
  5. Yes, but will that not be much easier to do with a Dolphins loss today? They win and we're back to the 5th seed
  6. Unless you feel winning out is going to be a breeze we don't have total and firm control over the East, either. Not saying it can't happen, but what have you seen from the Bills level of play that suggests it is likely? I just don't see why we're worrying more about KC than Miami at this moment. Let's say they win today but we take them down in Buffalo - there's still plenty of possibilities where we could lose the division. If the Dolphins lose today and we beat them (and the Jets), then I'll turn my focus to KC
  7. Because we have to secure our division first and that is far from a guarantee at this point. Everyone seems to be assuming that winning out is an easy task. The Chiefs losing makes no difference if we finish 2nd in the East
  8. Good question. The 3rd tiebreaker after head to head and division record is common games. Buffalo and Miami share 8 common games this year: Miami: Ravens W Bengals L Vikings L Steelers W Lions W Bears W Browns W Packers (home) Buffalo: Ravens W Steelers W Packers W Vikings L Browns W Lions W Bears (away) Bengals (away) Thus far the Bills are 5-1 in common games while Miami is 5-2, so Buffalo has a very slight edge. If the Bills split with Chicago and Cincinnati and Miami beats the Packers, we would then move to the 4th tiebreaker, conference record. Both the Bills and Miami are currently 6-2. Miami has @LAC, @BUF, @NE, and NYJ. Buffalo has NYJ, MIA, @CIN, and NE. Again, a slight edge for the Bills but ALL of our potential advantages are predicated on the Bills beating Miami in Buffalo. Should the Bills lose, they will likely need some serious help to win the division (and I recognize that your question assumes the Bills will win out in their division games). 5th and 6th tiebreakers are strength of victory and strength of schedule. If it got that far, Buffalo would be nearly certain to have the edge based on current numbers (Miami SOV .423, SOS .496, while Buffalo is SOV .475 and SOS .537).
  9. It may not have been roughing and a first down, but not even running into? Ridiculous
  10. The Bills may very well be in trouble in the division, but the odds of them missing the playoffs are small. 3-3 will get them in no matter who the wins and losses come against. There's basically 9 teams in play for the 7 spots. A Bills victory against the Pats tonight would essentially drop that list to 8. They're getting in as a wild card at worst
  11. 7 or 8 games huh? Yeah, they were awful against the Ravens, Steelers, and Chiefs
  12. Dawkins is by far the the least of our problems on the Oline. Can't even tell if this is serious
  13. My fantasy football team name is OBJYN
  14. Yep he is such an indispensable player for us. Dion has to be one of the most underrated tackles in the league
  15. Should have never taken him out. Although he's been terrible, what did they think Kyle Allen would do? Houston also has the worst roster in the NFL so not sure if Mills should be shouldering all the blame
  16. Nice throw by Kyle Allen. That has to be on the short list for worst passes of the year lol
  17. It's really discouraging. Watching other teams get the ball to their playmakers with ease while we struggle mightily. Everything is reliant on Allen and his superhuman skills
  18. He really looks like a system guy, albeit a good one. Everything is an easy, timing 10 yard in route to 1 of 2 wide open speedsters. Even on the TD pass to Smythe where he finally had to move around a bit he had all day to throw
  19. Brilliant analysis here. I'm convinced
  20. Dawkins and Morse too. 3 of these 4 is my hope, along with ramped up participation from White and Elam
  21. If surgery, yes. If not, he could be back for the playoffs. Sounds like he is definitely needing surgery and it will all boil down to whether he can push it to the off-season. Either way he will and should be shut down in the near term
