  1. Codrington is better. Shenault has virtually zero chance of making the team imo
  2. He's not. Switches teams every year it seems. Dude was way overdrafted
  3. I have been on record stating Dolac is well worth at least a 5th round pick, and these results are certainly going to improve his stock. The guy can flat out ball and deserves to be drafted
  4. The comments from the tweet in the OP seem positive. Forrest apparently played well as a starter in 2022 (88 tackles, 4 picks) before falling out of favor due to scheme change after Rivera left. Still young at 25
  5. Meh he's no Eli Ankou
  6. Sure. Doesn't mean it's not a good upside gamble for the Bills
  7. I mean sure it is a gamble per se, but when you look at the Bills predicament it is impossible for me to disapprove. A one year deal for a guy with the highest upside on the market, and if it doesn't work the Bills are not hamstrung long term. If it fails we're in the same place we were before. And none of this precludes us from drafting another edge in the first 3 rounds
  8. For those who disapprove, who on the market would be better in your estimation, outside of trading for Hendrickson which is probably not even a realistic possibility?
  9. I like it. May not work because of injuries, but can't hate on a 1 year deal for a guy with his talent. It's easy to forget Bosa is only 29
  10. Gardner Johnson is inconsistent, but he did have 6 picks last year. Nothing to sneeze at
  11. If anyone can, it would be the Eagles
  12. S CJ Gardner-Johnson for G Kenyon Green straight up. Can't say I understand this one from an Eagles perspective. Green has been one of the worst offensive lineman in football
  13. I like it a lot. Palmer just makes plays period every time I've watched him. Still just 25 as well
  14. There will be ripple effects among players who were already angling for more money. The Metcalf contract is laughable imo and sure to stir up some drama. Look at the Bengals alone - both Chase and Higgins are far superior players and now this contract is thrown into the pot.
  15. Maybe. But that's not a very compelling reason
  16. DK Metcalf is not a #1 wide receiver and never has been. He is a bit of a one trick pony. I don't think that either of these points are arguable. Not understanding why I should be upset about not trading a second and ponying up 30 million a year for someone of his caliber.
  17. Awful trade by the now consistently mediocre Pittsburgh Steelers. Metcalf is not close to being worth that money
  18. I can just imagine the number of 3 yard passes he would catch in this offense. 108 catches for 632 yards
  19. Yeah he's basically a 30 year old injury prone gadget guy who you will probably get 10 games out of. Good player in the past and could fit in Kingsbury's offense, and a 5th isn't a massive amount to part with. But I'm not a fan of his at this point
  20. Godchaux is a 3-4 guy. Don't see how this is a fit
  21. I mean it does help that half of his catches are at the line of scrimmage. I like Shakir but he is a nice player, not even close to being a game breaker.
  22. Obvious snub and I agree with your post. I personally envisioned Dolac as a 5th round prospect with an opportunity to move up slightly if he tested well. The guy can flat out ball, both in run support and coverage. He may not be a stud in the NFL, but there should definitely be a place for him
  23. Jim Kelly for offensive coordinator anyone?
  24. I just can't get on board with this possiblity, and I am more than a little surprised at the level of support it seems to have. Holland's play has declined since his rookie year and he is known to have nagging injury issues. Safety is not a position where it makes sense to have a premium investment, especially after using a 2nd rounder just last year. This isn't Ed Reed in his prime or some sort of outlier. I am fine with a more affordable free agent option or mid round pick and let that person compete with Rapp and Bishop. Under no circumstances should Hamlin have a role, even as a backup. That experiment needs to end. He was, along with Elam, the worst player on the entire field in the AFC Championship game.
