  1. It's just getting people to understand both sides of this story. If she did say she was 18, she should be held accountable for lying to him about her age. Why does she get a pass? I think it's funny, Araiza had an STD at the time and never told her until they called him on the phone which I think is wrong obviously. But if people are gonna slam him for not making it known to her he had an std immediately, then why doesn't she deserve criticism for lying about her age? If he is supposed to ask her for ID, is she supposed to ask if he has an STD? It's a 2 way street
  2. Maybe she was actually looking to have sex herself? You mean to tell me high school girls just like high school guys aren't all trying to get laid. I mean she did consent to sex so maybe she told him that because she was looking to actually have sex with someone at the party
  3. It's not slut shaming. It's that despite the law, she agreed to sex after saying she was 18. Let me ask you this though, if she told people she was 18 like has been reported, what would be her reason for doing so? Maybe she was actually looking to have sex and made herself older? I mean, it's just something to think about. People go to these parties to get laid a lot of the time
  4. You realize I'm quoting My Cousin Vinny with you, right? Just so we're on the same page lol
  5. They may not have known about it when they drafted him and up until yesterday may not have known how bad everything was. I see no reason why they would out of the blue just pick Araiza in the draft with the intention of "let's just keep this between ourselves". I don't think they operate like that
  6. They have made a couple mistakes, no front office is perfect. Did you actually expect them to hit on everything they do? What they have done good FAR outweighs the bad Or Beane never knew about it himself
  7. See, this is what I don't like. If Araiza stopped cooperating with police, people would be talking about how guilty he is for not cooperating and get tons of backlash but a girl that claims rape and stops cooperating because of stress, she gets "you poor thing". Any non cooperation should be seen as a red flag. The double standard is ridiculous
  8. You don't even know me. I'm just saying for someone that says she was roofied and in and out of consciousness during the act so she is still saying right now she doesn't know everything that happened but yet remembers being alert right afterwards that she was raped. I wanna be clear here, of Araiza is guilty of this, I hope he rots in prison. I don't know if you think I'm in favor of what he is being accused of but I'm not
  9. She was alert enough to tell a friend right afterwards that she was raped. So the in and out of consciousness ended as soon as the rape was over. Coincidence
  10. She claimed she was in and out of consciousness during the whole process
  11. She claimed she was roofied and in and out of consciousness during the rape, however she remembers being alert enough right after the rape to come out of the room and tell a friend she was raped? Crazy she was too incapacitated when the rape happened but remembers clearly as soon as it ended
  12. It was said by many at the party that she had told him that she was 18. It's not on him to ask her for her driver's license to prove otherwise. It's on her to be honest about her age. If she really said she was 17 and he still went along with it, then he is 100% at fault
  13. Are you really that naive that you thought he meant that only him getting cut is gonna ruin his life? He meant ruin his life in general. An allegation like this can cause a bunch of problems in his life in multiple ways. Not just possibly ruining his sports career
  14. According to witnesses, she stated she was 18 on multiple occasions
  15. What I said isn't referring to Araiza specifically. It was a general response as an example. It takes at least 2 people to make sex happen, correct? It is not all his fault that he doesn't ask and it is not all hers that she doesn't tell him. However, because of the girl knowing she is the one underage, she should make it more clear. Though, while he could ask, it is not 100% on him to do so. Why do the women and the minors always get the benefit of the doubt in these cases?
  16. Ok. So, tell the guy you're a high schooler. Problem solved
  17. Lol. Ok man. Most people at college parties are drinking and trying to get laid, it's safe to assume that the people there are college age. I could completely understand why someone wouldn't ask. I ask again,, WHY CAN SHE NOT TELL HIM HER REAL AGE? she knows she's a minor, wouldn't that be the right thing to do?
  18. Ok but again, if the girl was 16 or 17, she should make it known to him. How common is it for college students to only be 16 years old?
  19. The only people going to college parties should be college students of college age. That's the point. You don't think when you're at a college party at 18 or 19 years old that a girl you're about to hookup with is only a 16 year old high school girl. She is the one that is under age. She should be the one to divulge her age. If she said she was a minor and he still proceeded, then he is at fault
  20. It was reported that it was an off campus college party
