I drafted Jerick McKinnon to be my full time flex guy but that went out the window 10 minutes after my draft was over. I currently have Jordy Nelson there now but I don't like his matchup this week against the Rams. I picked up John Ross out of free agency and actually feel really good about his matchup this week. I'm thinking of playing John Ross here but was wondering what everyone here's opinion would be.
Other options for the flex spot:
Chris Thompson
Pierre Garcon
Rashaad Penny
Paul Richardson
Alfred Morris
Matt Breida
It is a PPR league so I'm thinking Chris Thompson might be good to

He was here in 2008 so it's only been 10 years

It hasn't sunk in for me that the season is here yet. There's a regular season game on and but it doesn't feel that way to me. It could just be because the game is boring

So I have Leonard Fournette and Justin Tucker on my fantasy team and I'm trying to decide between "Little Red Fournette" and "Mother Tucker" as my team name. Which do you guys think?

They Keep
2 QBs
4 RBs
1 FB
7 WRs
4 TEs
8 OL
5 DEs
4 DT
7 LBs
4 CBs
4 FSs
3 STs
I would prefer 3 QBs and 3TEs. No need for 4 TEs

What kind of question is this? Isn't it clear to see that he has tremendously improved QB, WR and OL?

I'm with you. I found it to be rather puzzling with Allen trying to show his stuff.
During the game I didn't have an issue with it because I figured he was doing more along the line of what I thought but if that was their plan going in then yes, it is truly puzzling

He did yes in his postgame presser.
Well then that makes no sense lol

Not the case. It was there plan going into the game to substitute players at different spots to prepare them for the regular season with the need arising.
He specifically stated this?

I still don’t understand why he would mix and match the oline the first time Allen got time with the 1s. It’s bad coaching or some nutty ass trial by fire, hope you fail so I can start Nate again and prove I wasn’t a fool last year.
The reason why he was doing it was because you could see early on that the offensive line was having issues with pass protection so he was simply moving people around and substituting people in and out to find the right combination.

What does everyone think? Big Ted #1? I really enjoyed watching this

Sounds like they are about to bring in Alex Boone, Jahri Evans and Eric Winston for offensive line help. There's the 3 spots lol

He can't be worse, but his best days are a distant memory and I emphasize "distant" here.
He only gave up 2 sacks last year with the Packers

Didn't he retire?
I know he came here on a FA visit when Whaley was GM and turned down their offer so he may not wanna play here.
I don't think he retired. He was listed on a thing I saw earlier in the top 50 free agents available
-
Why he hasn't been brought in yet is beyond me
-
He may be 35 but he has been a pro bowler in the past and had a decent season with the packers last year. Why not bring him in on a one year deal? How much worse can he be?
-
All these people are flipping their lids over preseason. Can we see how the regular season starts first?

According to this we may still have a shot at Jahri Evans. He may be 35 but should be good for this season at least. Also, what about Alex Boone?

I seriously think the olineman we have just aren't giving enough effort because it's preseason. People were saying the same thing last year and lots have been saying it year after year bur then when we got to the regular season it's nowhere near as bad as it looks. I think people are more overreacting than anything. Charles Clay has been a good tight end for us and today he drops a couple passes and people are talking about how horrible he is. Other people saying "this D is terrible". It's the same damn defense as last year give or take a few new bodies. Someone actually posted something earlier about how bad Brandon Beane is because he's given away a lot of our talent. Now granted, he has pretty much neglected the oline but calm down. Every year we hear " it's gonna be a ling season behind this oline" and every year it's not as bad as it looked in the preseason. Let's just see what happens when the season starts first
-
It's preseason people. Relax

I honestly just don't think either the offense or defense is giving full effort because of it being preseason

As of right now I'm projected to lose by 12 so not necessarily a blow out but a decent margin. The thing that scares me about Chris Thompson is he is just coming back from a bad injury and I'm worried they may ease him back in. John Ross I think is primed for a break out season and his matchup this week looks great on paper
This is a good point. That Minnesota defense is the one thing that has me hesitating with him this week
