I think it's an interesting topic because even in his best years, Bass' accuracy has never looked like what I would call "pinpoint." Off the top of my head I can picture at least 3-4 "doinks" off the bar that went through the uprights. Those points count the same as any others, but if they bounce the other way... well, you get the idea. He's always had a big leg, but I think this year more his dicey kicks have just fallen the other way than they have before.

It’s possible some receiver starved team overpays him on a big contract, but if his market is as milquetoast as his play has been, he might go to a team like the 9’ers on a one year deal exactly in that 3-5 mil range in the hopes of proving he can put a truly strong season together for a monster payday after.

How bad is it that this actually sounds plausible, good grief.. lol I think Gabe goes to a run heavy team like Balt or San Fran, where his skills will be put to good use. Who knows maybe a coach like Shanny even finds ways to scheme him open and unlocks his full potential.

Honestly if Gabe is responsible for even HALF the miscommunication ints this board attributes to him, I don’t know how the Bills can justify continuing to keep him on the field when healthy.
