  1. Still a great deal. There were people saying he was gonna get 10 a year.
  2. Not gonna be pissed if it happens buuut... (me the broken record) the past 12 years the Superbowl champions spent pennies at RB. Spending pennies at RB and using money on the trenches and franchise qbs is so far the recipe for a super bowl team.
  3. I'll be excited once it's official and when the numbers come out. But healthy poyer with healthy Hyde could once again be the strength of this team.
  4. Seems weird to me, I get that he doesn't have guaranteed money but he's one of the few RBs at the end of their prime that has a contract. But maybe someone will give him some guaranteed money but I doubt he gets more than a 2 year deal.
  5. If a 2nd got it done absolutely. But 27th isn't out of the question. The wr talent at 27 probably won't be any where near jeudys talent.
  6. Not exactly sure what they are thinking. You want to prove that the russ trade wasn't a colossal failure and you trade away his weapons?
  7. For the past 13 years the super bowl champions never paid big money for RBs, especially big money to old running backs. Paying RBs is not the move for a super bowl.
  8. I'm guessing the bills are worried about the pass blocking abilities of their RB room. Right now they have all pass catchers and no short yardage bruiser that can pass block. Williams is a great short yardage bruiser and elite pass blocker, and not to mention the locker room attitude McD loves. I'd prefer to not spend money at RB and draft a cheap bruising rookie. But going into a season with a huge question mark at pass blocking with cook, hines, and an unproven rookie is a dangerous gamble.
  9. Seems like a great haul for bears. Still top 10 pick this year, probably a top 10 next year and dj Moore instantly upgrades wr room.
  10. Agreed, personally if Robinson, njigba, Addison, and possibly Campbell (depending on what happens with Tremaine)are off the board I'm trading back and stacking OL picks and an upside RB with some meat on him.
  11. I agree with all except obj. I don't like the injury concern with the amount of money he will probably want. I would like to replace Jarvis and obj with Robert woods. Woods knows josh and the offense.
  12. One of the main reasons I've changed my stance on drafting an rb in the first. If it's Robinson I'm all about it. Because of what Hall did for the jets, and coming out of college Robinson is far and away the better RB in every level of the game and its not close. I highly doubt Robinson is at 27 for the bills, but if he is the bills should sprint to the podium. I wouldn't be surprised if as soon as Robinson, njigba,Addison are off the board the bills trade back.
  13. Henry is a beast and would instantly improve the offense. But mentioning chess vs checkers, adding a big money RB is one of the worst moves a franchise can make for a superbowl. A really great tweet got put out and it showed that the past 13 super bowl champions spent minimal to nothing at RB. Patriots and chiefs are 2 great teams that have spent pennies at RB for their championship runs. I'm all about adding talent to the bills offense and Henry instantly adds talent but according to the past 13 years it's not where great franchises spend precious resources.
  14. With saquon getting the franchise tag that made the possibility of Robinson falling to 27 much more likely. If saquon walked there was no way the giants don't take Robinson. But I'd still be very surprised if he makes it to 27, way too much talent.
  15. Agreed, paying older RBs at the end of their prime is never a good idea. Plus, as good as Henry is, he's not a great fit for this offense in my opinion. Not that he would be bad in buffalo but his skill set isn't what's missing in the bills offense.
  16. I would agree with you to a point, the bills needed to be much better on offense against the Bengals, the defense and frazier dont deserve all the hate. But on the other side the bills are one of those best offenses, and Anarumo schooled the bills. Completely shut down josh and the game plan. How? Scheme. Bengals D is not more talented than the Bills but from a coaching standpoint Anarumo completely outclassed frazier. Bengals made it to the superbowl because of Anarumos adjustments at the half against the Chiefs. The Chiefs beat the Bengals this year because spagnola dialed up ways to take advantage of the back up O line of the Bengals. And bucs won a superbowl because they dialed up ways to get after mahomes. Iam not a guy that's pounding the table to get rid of frazier and I know we could be much worse on defense, but I think that frazier has shown what he is, consistant. He will always have a good defense but he will never be the guy that dials up a scheme that debilitates an opposing QB and dictates a game. It will always bend but don't break. And maybe it's time to see if the bills need a scheme to help them past the Bengals/chiefs.
  17. Depends on what edmunds wants and what Wagner is willing to take for a SB run. There's a real chance that edmunds thinks he can get around 20 mil and there's probably teams like the giants that would pay it. Bills should not tie up that kind of money.
  18. Agreed, at this point it might be best for both parties to part ways. Ravens are in a really tough spot, pretty much damned if you do damned if you don't.
  19. I doubt ravens pay that, but there might be a crazy enough franchise to do it.
  20. If we are bringing back older recievers at the end of thier career my vote is Beasley. We saw what happened to this offense without a solid slot.
  21. I've been firmly against drafting and paying RBs forever. But, if you get possibly the best player in this draft and the best RB prospect since Barkley at 27, im about it. I see what breece did for the jets offense, and Robinson is better than Hall in every way. I highly doubt he makes it to 27, I'd be surprised if he gets past lions, cowboys, among others.
  22. I'm a Vander Esch fan and he completely fits the attitude McBean loves. But he's more of an old school LB, he reads and runs down hill to make a tackle. Fraziers D asks their LBs to do alot in coverage and be space eaters in the middle of the feild. That's not Vander Eschs game, though he is tall and lanky he's more old school style. It would be getting an upgraded version of AJ Kleins style of game.
  23. I've pounded the table for years to not pick RBs in the first and don't pay RBs. But after watching the playoffs/superbowl and what Hall did for the jets. A weapon like Robinson changes my stance. I don't care about past picks, Robinson might be the closest to a saquon prospect we've seen. And he's better than Breece Hall. I'd take Robinson and draft upside WRs and Oline with every pick after.
  24. An accurate QB that always had elite slot options and excellent protection. Wear down defenses with 4 yard gains the length of the feild, don't turn the ball over. Then on defense always take away the opposing offenses best weapon. And 9/10 belichick would take away the run game and force qbs to win with their arm. Usually worked out for them.
  25. Mahomes is also elite at manipulating LBs with his eyes. When he gets LBs to open their hips to the wrong side with his eyes kelce already has them beat.
